❤ and I thought I was going crazy when I saw them on the highway 😦 🛣️ in Chicago IL ❤ 🫶🏼🫂💋🌹🕊️ God Bless you guys sending traveling mercies with you guys enjoy your vacation 🎉❤ 😊
So great to see 2 of 4 van lifers/vloggers I started watching years ago coming together again after so much has happened in everyone's lives. Love the family and community it provides
Fun fact. Back in 1969, the Army Corp of Engineers temporarily diverted the US Niagara Falls to clean up the debris at the bottom and to shore up the cliff walls. My father-in-law was one of the Engineers on this project. My husband was 11 at the time and was able to walk out across the top of the Falls. When he came back to school, his friends didn't believe that he walked across the Falls. His Dad came and did a slide presentation for the class.
More fun facts about the flow: In the middle of the 1800’s some ice blocked the flow and the water stopped for over a day until the wind shifted/picked up and got it moving again. Now they have mechanisms that keep that from happening. I was there in November when they cut the water flow for the winter and it was disappointing, but it gave us the chance to explore the dried up areas and had hours of amazing rock hunting!
What a great video, so lovely to see you with Eamon and Bec and then celebrating their thanksgiving together that was really special. To see Eamon's enthusiasm over the van and his Dad. Trent being involved in the construction project it was so nice, then seeing Bec and Frankie with you so lovely. It reminded me that you both have been through so much these past few years, grief over loosing Allie's mother, the difficult circumstances around Leo's birth, Allie's post natal depression, then all the house stuff. Eamon and Bec loosing their friend Lee to suicide their grief around that and Bec's cancer and her treatment, then the miracle of Frankie combined with Bec's cancer returning and having Frankie at 33 weeks. So much you have all gone through yet there is always hope and you both have so much love and hope and joy in your lives because you choose to be happy. So admirable and a joy to watch. Great content , it was very heart warming xxx
@@Kelleena1on1 I wondered if it was Canada but when I saw their instagram post last week and lol they were with Eamon and Bec! and I knew i had guessed right.
Great points. I’m all for giving the women kudos since, as you have eloquently pointed out, family building is personally costly, even if everything goes smoothly, but dramatically more when it does not. Thank you.
I've followed you & Eamon & Bec & Jordan & Kaylee & Max since you all started! It made me so happy to see you together again & all the Kids. Now we just need Sarah & Luca & Luce to join in! I've followed them for the same amount of time. So many memories of you all! ❤
Me too! They all had a meetup about 7/8 years ago. I literally followed all of them: eamon & bec, Trent and Allie, Jordan and Kaylee, Sara and Alex, Max and Lee, the Van Wives and Tyler and Todd! It’s crazy seeing them all again.
Allie, I totally agree with your philosophy on traveling with young kids. As you said, travel brings opportunites to create resilency, the spirit of adventure and an adaptive personality. This isn't about Leo and Billy's future ability to remember this trip; it's about what this trip does to them interally, what skills it gives them, who it helps them become.
By the time I was a sophomore in high school my parents had taken us camping to 49 US States and every Canadian Province! It was a fabulous way to grow up. We were from SW Pennsylvania.
Yes to this! My parents took me to trips that I don’t remember, but now I’m able to travel by my self and interact with others because I saw them doing ALL MY LIFE. And you will always have the photos and videos. In this video they will always remember that dad was complaining a lot 😂. You should watch @flyingthenest (they do van travel with 2 kids and cruses / plane)
Allie, you said no matter where Trent goes he ends up finding construction projects to help with and my thought was...wherever you both go you end up finding "family" 😊❤
I don't think Trent 'found' these construction projects as much as he was asked and it was a 'planned' thing. Allie kind of made it sound like Trent just sniffs out building projects! It was nice that Trent was able to help, but they had a whole crew there, and Eamon is a beast at building, and totally capable.
In January while watching your video, I had a MAJOR medical emergency. That introduced me to counseling and medical PTSD. Today was the 1st day I left my wife alone and ventured out in a car by myself. It's also the 1st video I have watched from y'all. What a great day.
As 1980's-90's mom of 4 and a grandma now, I'm so glad to see you having adventures with the babes! We always did, had a boat and camped, the kids were always with us!! We have so many stories! Love you guys!🥰
Allie’s smile and excitement is something we haven’t seen allot lately. Although a delivery of supplies for the build is great for progress it’s not the same as family trips!! Go see that great big ball of yarn if that’s what intrigues you🤣
So cool that Trent got to help with the shed build for Eamon's brother. We also know he ends up helping Jordan on his tiny house in Vermont. Friends helping friends is such a bonding moment, and it also allows Trent to take part in his number one hobby, even while on vacation. And since they are not his projects there is no stress, which is perfect while on vacation and traveling.
You guys are too funny! Makes me appreciate that I raised 3 kids on my own and that they all turned out so well. Watching you has become addictive! Savor all your moments, they will go by too fast but you will one day look back and enjoy all the memories. It's great Leo is so curious and I love how you encourage that in him.
The kids may not remember this trips events but they will be shaped and grow from your energy and time spent with them. Definatley worth doing it all. ❤
🤍🍏🫖 Nice video nice to see you having family time with your kids when they’re so young it is important. It may not seem like they remember it but it is establishing bonds and relationships.
They *will* indeed "remember" because later they will see the pictures and videos you take now. That's what happened with our family. Last fall, before he passed away, my brother (who had dementia) and I still "remembered" and chatted about trips with our folks waaaay back in the 1950s. Yes, it is all worth it!!!
I love the friendships you guys have with other TH-camrs. I follow all of you, and it actually makes me feel like I personally know each of you, right? Enjoy the rest of your trip and I think I might know who is next.
It’s so easy to remember our own experiences and speak from those emotions, but the challenge in parenting is remembering kids don’t have those influences and trying to not pass our emotions onto them. Trent, you’re doing a lot of work (especially against anxiety). You do an outstanding job receiving Allie’s perspective and absorbing it as a reminder. Good work to both of you!
We recently crossed the border going the opposite way to you, to spend a vacation in Pennsylvania, with my mother-in-law, 2 kids and a dog all packed into a mini van. It was stressful, but both crossings were smooth. Glad your's was too. Also the words, "I guess we're going to do it anyway, because my wife wants to do it." are the foundation of the world. 😂
Two of my favorites YT couples together!! I love it. Most of the YT vanlifers I watch are Canadian. I love our Trent and Allie. I agree with Allie about exposing young to the beauty of life and in life. Plenty of time for the not so fun or circumstances to get to us. Always have an abundance of beauty, in nature and people, to fallback on, to be our safe and peaceful places, to remind us to chill, that all challenges will pass. That the beautiful things and people will be part of their foundation in establishing their humanity.
I love your van and I am so glad I finally got to go to Niagra Falls. So, special thanks to Allie for dragging us there, and big thanks to Trent for humoring us. It was the right thing to do and now you don't ever have to go back Trent! And it was very cool. Good to see you hanging out with old friends from early van days. Boy have things changed for all of you. Sending you love and looking forward to the rest of your trip. And I am so grateful to get to go along.
I love you guys, and Allie in her excitement and enthusiasm in talking about Trent looked SO much like her mom, her eyebrow raise and delight in him... she has a lovely joy and boost of inheritance from her mom. It is so sweet to see that light of her mom live on.
So happy to see you guys back on the road and enjoying Canada and old friends (especially) friends that had a bad time with cancer love you all and being grateful for sharing see you on Friday
That's a true friendship to not see someone for a long time but when you meet you feel as close a friendship as before. You are lucky to have friends like that. Love you traveling with the family and having a good time. Bless all of you and I can'r wait until the next video.
So proud of you! I am 54 and my twins are 23 years old. We never did anything like what you do and not do I regret it! Keep on keeping on! When you're empty messing you will have no regrets! Love you all❤
this was the best episode I’ve seen from you guys in forever. This is so awesome that you guys did this. It’s so important to see people as somebody that’s lost a lot of people in the last so many years I’m telling you man not only his life is short, but you gotta do it. MAN got to.
In a weird way,Covid is one of the best things that ever happened to you. Where do you think you’d be if it hadn’t happened? Still traveling? You wouldn’t know Leo and Billy. You might know new people, even children, but it wouldn’t be Leo and Billy. Life is full of twists and turns and random seeming decisions that change everything. It’s wonderful. Keep traveling; it’s endlessly fascinating.
I love this comment! I think of things like that all the time. Some of my worst decisions brought me to the best places..... eventually. The paths we choose aren't always easy or happy or fun but they sure teach us a lot of important lessons along the way. 💕
Trent, you are a wanted man when it comes to your carpentry skills! Wild wonderful Off Grid, Nomadic Movement and Eamon and Bec's Brother/ BIL.... I'm so proud of you two for getting out there in your beautiful new van, taking a chance and running with it! Especially with a toddler and pretty much a newborn.... That couldn't have been easy, but you persevered and DID IT!! Leo has been a champ on this trip, he is such an amazing, smart little boy and I love watching him grow and learn so much...What a Beautiful gift of showing him our country and then Canada... What a great opportunity. You both are crushing parenthood together and that makes my heart SO HAPPY ❤. Blessings and Love to you All..🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Leo learned just a bit of the awesome power of nature. Being scared is being respectful. You're great parents to teach your children. It's okay to learn these lessons and make them feel safe as they learn.
Welcome to Toronto...We have been watching you for years. Good to see you back in a van travelling. We are wondering why you don't have the blinds in the back open so Leo and Billy and look out and see the beautiful scenery like the adults? Enjoy the rest of your journey!
Hello from Ontario, Canada. I guess it’s a dad thing to expect the negative part of doing new things. My husband is the same. Scared we wouldn’t like it. Ali, I am like you, more positive. We travelled with my girls when they were the same age as Leo. They are in their early 20’s now and they often look at our photo albums and talk about what they remember in the younger days. So, no matter how old they start travelling, they will remember and will love to continue travelling when they discover their independence. Thank you for bringing me on your vacation.
OMG YOU ARE IN CANADA ,WELCOME!!! SO WEIRD TO SEE YOU SO FAR FROM HOME, I AM SO USED TO SEE UTAH ON YOUR VIDEO THIS IS REALLY COOL.HAVE A SAFE TRIP AND ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!!!!💕
Best Chanel crossover I could have asked for, I’ve been following both couples life for a long time now and I am always happy to watch you together in the same video. Plus the kids together 😮 Love from Uruguay
I seen Niagra Falls in winter while it was snowing, and the mist immediately turned to snow! I was in a winter wonderland! Amazingly beautiful! I doubt Leo will remember the falls after going to the Rainforest Cafe with all the animal figurines!
I love this so much!! So glad you had a successful first vanlife excursion with both boys. It's so heartwarming to see you reconnect with Eamon and Bec. I still remember the last time you all met in person and had the fun competition games. So lovely to see your warm smiles afterwards.
There are new memories in the making. Niagara Falls was so beautiful! I'm sure Leo will remember that for a long time. It was good to see Eaman and the garage build. I'm sure we'll see more of them all.
Yes Allie ‘this is going to be fun”! Trent’s new at this dad thing ‘this may not be fun’ hahah for dad!ha But yes, you always want to speak positivity into the day. Great job parents.
Love watching my favourite TH-camrs come together!🇨🇦 Eg. Trent and Allie, Eamon and Bec, Josh and Erin, Tyler and Todd, Crystal and Jazz, and Max and Occy just to name a few ! Love ya ALL 💕
When I travel with my toddler, I often search for playgrounds on the route to let him run and toddle since sitting in a car can drive all of us nuts! Thought I’d share
Trent, All my kids remember about what were supposed to be fun outings was their father’s whinging about something or other and taking the shine off it. Of course tourist places have a bit of glitz. That’s what sets them apart. Just enjoy it for what it is and leave positive memories.
Putting the ponchos on. Trent: “This may not seem like a lot of fun but you have to wear it” Allie: “OF COURSE THIS IS A LOT OF FUN!” My life Trent - everything you want a toddler to do is a lot of fun!
Really enjoying this van trip with your little sons. We had an old VW camper van in the 60s and then an old Airstream that my dad gutted and remodeled very simply. Bucket toilet, propane stove, block of ice in the fridge. No AC or heat. But we had so much fun in both! I took Maid of the Mist about 20 years ago. Thanks for the memories ❤ Nice to see you with Eamon and Bec! Please visit the RV museum in Elkhart IN. You would love it! They have campers from the 1930s forward.
I subscribed to you guys through Eamen and Bec before covid times so i been here a while now, i love how you now both have kids i feel honoured to be on your journey's
Yay!!! I don't remember who started watching 1st but I know I started watching both your vlogs through each other back in the early days of 2018 or 2019.. Makes it feels great to see you all connect again! So Awesome and good to see! Love you all and Trent did a great job helping out! Thanks for the memories!!
That was a great video. Stopped watching 3 years ago but when I saw Canada I jumped back on. Can't believe you did that Niagara tour no stroller. I always gave myself two hours to get out the door.
We did it in a minivan with 3 kids in a minivan for 3 months to relocate to the White Mts after crossing the country to Iowa and back. We dropped the water purifier once in a motorhome and 3 gallons of water went everywhere, no glass WOW!
Love that you are visiting friends and continuing the connections you have made over the years. I watch faithfully both Eamon and Bec and the Nomadic Movement thanks to you. Keep the adventure going. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Was so great to see this reunion ❤ My 2 boys came around the same time as your 2 boys and we recently did a van and hiking holiday with them through NZ - all of your sentiments on travel with kids was relatable 😂 hope the rest of your trip/holidays are great too.
My husband and I travelled around Europa for 6 years and 4 of those years with 2 kids. After our second child started to walk, it became a little stressful and when our oldest son had to start school, we had to stop. But,- never regretted those years on the road and today our boys are stable grownups with good jobs and their own kids. They still love to travel and experience other cultures and are very happy that their upbringing was maybe a little 'weird'. 😄
Allies face said it all…..the genuine happiness is apparent. These memories will be somewhat there. I remember road trips and I might have been 4 but bits and pieces at 3. Enjoy your trip….yall deserve the break.
Love watching all of you and your friends videos. Subscribed to all of them. I found yours first and the others separately. So cool when I learned how you were all connected. Leo did great at Niagara Falls. He is getting so big and Billy is a cutie pa tootie!!! God bless and safe travels. 😊🙏❤️
I've been on the Maid Of The Mist twice in my life, And each time the ponchos rattle so hard from the wind created by the falls, But it was hot and that mist will soak you and cool you off quite nicely.
Trent's joke about driving the boat into the falls brought back memories of when I was a youngster my dad took all of us on the Maid and the actually nosed the boat into the falls. Then the falls started crumbling and they had to give that up.
Always do all the things! Even if you don’t think the kids will remember/appreciate it, you’re building their foundation - AND the activity is fun for YOU!
I grew up in Michigan and went to Canada many times. Going into Canada was a piece of cake. It was the American border officials that gave us the hardest times coming back into my own country.
❤ I love you guys and I think it’s fantastic that you’ve all stayed connected as you and your van dwelling friends have transitioned to homes and children! Great adventure!!
💕so very nice to see you together after all these years...Have been watching you both since those escapades all those years ago...So glad to see you get a chance to be together again. Love your content and enjoy watching your family grow and all your construction projects.. You are blessed...Thank you
I miss your travel days. Traveling with kids teaches them to do with less materialism but enjoy and experience people and life. Wishing you great times with Eamon & Bec!
It’s so amazing to see all of you guys knowing what you have all been through with loss of Alllies mom, Bec’s cancer . You’re all doing so good and that’s due to who you are as human beings. Once again thank you so much for sharing it’s really cool how I feel like a part of your family even though we have never met. I think it’s because no matter where we go or who we are, we are loving, caring and good people. Happy thanksgiving from Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Is there a reason you keep the window covered by Leo? Maybe he could've looked at the scenery instead of a screen the whole trip. We love looking out the window on our trips! I'm glad you all had a great time.
Hard to believe but I've been following you guys for probably 6 years now and it's so heartwarming to see you all together again even if it's just for a short while

That so cool
The rain coats used to be yellow. I wish ares was red!!!
It has been fun watching all you young van-lifers grow up and have babies. Thanks for bringing me along.
Nothing better than seeing Trent, Allie, Eamon & Bec in one video!! 💙 Makes my heart so full! XoXo
Did Bec say anything in the video or did I miss that?

Great job getting out there! Celebrating that win with you virtually. 👏👏👏
Gotta love seeing T&A doing van life again, and Allie's smile and narration, and Trent helping his homies like no time has passed. Good vibes.

Hey I’m 58 our twins are 20😂. We’ve traveled a lot just not out of country, with them.
This is how you make memories that last forever, whether you know it or not, your children will benefit and being together with their family

You are both very relaxed, calm yet adventurous parents. Your kuds will apprecuate and grow from your adventures .
In my African culture, you are never intruding when it is a gathering. Good to see you guys hanging out with friends. ❤
This is true! Even my hair braider would invite me to her family dinners.
GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL TOGETHER AGAIN , with you beautiful babies as such a BONUS Thank You for Sharing your extended family visit ❤️🙏🏻👏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺

Two couples I love to watch together in the same vlog! Good day❤
Welcome to Toronto...We have been watching you for years. Good to see you back in a van travelling. We are wondering why you don't have the blinds in the back open so Leo and Billy and look out and see the beautiful scenery like the adults? Enjoy the rest of your journey!
Well, that is my week made. Been too long since I had a Bob sighting!!! That man is a legend.
I have been reading everyone and you are the FIRST to finally mention BOB. Seeing Bob was the highlight to the entire video!
Bob is awesome! ❤
My hubby doesn’t like to travel. So going to Niagara Falls with you was such a treat for me! Thank you!!
Living vicariously through watching all these van "shows" is what it's all about, right?😊
As many other people have said, seeing you guys together feels like watching family. Truly wish I had the pleasure of knowing you all personally!
Plus the kids together 😮
Love from Uruguay
...and dont forget about E&B cross-over adventures with Max...
I'm hoping they all get together with Sara, Luca, and Luce at some point!
I seen Niagra Falls in winter while it was snowing, and the mist immediately turned to snow! I was in a winter wonderland! Amazingly beautiful! I doubt Leo will remember the falls after going to the Rainforest Cafe with all the animal figurines!
Before I even watch the video, based on the title, all I can say is "Yay, yay, yay, yay"!!! I have never been so excited to wath one of your videos!
I love this so much!! So glad you had a successful first vanlife excursion with both boys. It's so heartwarming to see you reconnect with Eamon and Bec. I still remember the last time you all met in person and had the fun competition games. So lovely to see your warm smiles afterwards.
Love this one. Love seeing 2 of my favorite van life families spending time together!!!
I am so glad that you guys got to pull away from all the construction work and go do this. Just traveling in the van. Having a good time
A heart warming video today- so glad you got to experience and enjoy our Canadian thanksgiving ❤️
Love watching my favourite TH-camrs come together!🇨🇦
Eg. Trent and Allie, Eamon and Bec, Josh and Erin, Tyler and Todd, Crystal and Jazz, and Max and Occy just to name a few ! Love ya ALL 💕
Oh what a treat! My favorite 4 people in one spot. What love and friendship. This video makes my heart smile.
When I travel with my toddler, I often search for playgrounds on the route to let him run and toddle since sitting in a car can drive all of us nuts! Thought I’d share
Friends are the family we choose. Wonderful time!😊
Trent, All my kids remember about what were supposed to be fun outings was their father’s whinging about something or other and taking the shine off it.
Thanks for the memories ❤
Nice to see you with Eamon and Bec!
Please visit the RV museum in Elkhart IN. You would love it! They have campers from the 1930s forward.
Trent life wouldn’t be life without speed bumps like the pasta sauce spill. Life goes on.
I subscribed to you guys through Eamen and Bec before covid times so i been here a while now, i love how you now both have kids i feel honoured to be on your journey's
I’m so glad Leo got to experience The Rainforest Cafe!!
Yay!!! I don't remember who started watching 1st but I know I started watching both your vlogs through each other back in the early days of 2018 or 2019.. Makes it feels great to see you all connect again! So Awesome and good to see! Love you all and Trent did a great job helping out! Thanks for the memories!!
Thank you for taking us along!!! Very beautiful.
That was a great video. Stopped watching 3 years ago but when I saw Canada I jumped back on. Can't believe you did that Niagara tour no stroller. I always gave myself two hours to get out the door.
Good Morning Everyone! Happy Monday! Let’s Go😇
We did it in a minivan with 3 kids in a minivan for 3 months to relocate to the White Mts after crossing the country to Iowa and back.
Ohh!! I hope you guys are on Reroot! Thanks for these travel videos. They bring me back to the old Trent and Allie days! I love it!
Even though Leo may not get what you expected him to, he will remember the family togetherness and his own special memory.
I love this reunion! I knew it! Love Trent and Allie and Eamon and Bec!!! ❤
Love watching all of you and your friends videos. Subscribed to all of them. I found yours first and the others separately. So cool when I learned how you were all connected. Leo did great at Niagara Falls. He is getting so big and Billy is a cutie pa tootie!!! God bless and safe travels. 😊🙏❤️
Love seeing you guys with Eamon and Bec!! ❤
I've been on the Maid Of The Mist twice in my life, And each time the ponchos rattle so hard from the wind created by the falls, But it was hot and that mist will soak you and cool you off quite nicely.
It's so good to see you guys together again. Van life has sure changed, but not in a bad way.
Family and friends are everything to the heart. I just love seeing you all get together. So much joy seeing all the littles.❤️
No way!!! I can't believe this. First Nomadic Movement, now Eamon and Bec!!! ❤❤❤
I grew up in Michigan and went to Canada many times. Going into Canada was a piece of cake. It was the American border officials that gave us the hardest times coming back into my own country.
I sure enjoy watching how much fun you're having in your van. You're in your element!! 💖
What a wonderful video, so great to follow along. Love seeing you all together again, been watching since 2020. Beautiful!
You are blessed...Thank you
Canada welcomes everyone! Love you all 🇨🇦
I miss your travel days. Traveling with kids teaches them to do with less materialism but enjoy and experience people and life. Wishing you great times with Eamon & Bec!
Allie’s smile at Niagra Falls was so sweet!
Happy thanksgiving from Canada 🇨🇦
♥️♥️♥️♥️
Canadians are the nicest people. Always have a great time!
Of course we are the nicest people😁.
Actually... I know a few not do nice ones.
Is there a reason you keep the window covered by Leo? Maybe he could've looked at the scenery instead of a screen the whole trip. We love looking out the window on our trips! I'm glad you all had a great time.
I knew you were going there!! Love Eamon and Bec and Frankie!!!♥️
I watch them too 🎉, beautiful family
Frankie Lee!
Hard to believe but I've been following you guys for probably 6 years now and it's so heartwarming to see you all together again even if it's just for a short while
Welcome to Canada 🥰
This has made my heart explode. Last time you guys were in Toronto I met you at the convention. Got to hug all of you. ❤
