Is there more to life than work? Few moments like that. We're working to survive, to feed this poor body, but what about the soul? You don't just have to survive, you need to live a lil too. And you can't live, as long life is only work and job related. Our soul can't keep up the momentum, as long as we continue on this route. That's why, at the end of the day, we feel so hollow, so depressed, everything feels so meaningless... . Because we can't feel ourselves in any other way, as long as we don't break out of this vicious cycle. Like the serpent Uroborus, we are caught into this thing. And we can't free ourselves, if we let the work become more important than our innermost self. If we let it taking over. Because, after all, if life involves only work, that's not a living. It's a prison. Why do you think some people die? Working depression or commit suicide, because they didn't find what they were looking for. Or what they were told to look for. Because we've been brought up like this. Because, from our early childhood, we were asked: "What do you want to become when you'll be an adult?". It's not just a question, but they insert into you the idea, the thought, no...they impose it into you this urging need that gotta be cared of. And, yes, we bought it. We thought that, when we'll become bigger, we will have what we want. Everything we want, in fact. And, when that happened to some of us, how did you felt? For how long did you felt that? What was left after that? See, they haven't told us the whole part. They skipped it on purpose. Because, it doesn't matter how rich you are, there's always a deep hole inside any, anyone of us, that this world and its money system cannot saturate. No matter how much it will try. What I wanted to say, keep things in balance. Don't sell your health for some damn coins. Do what you gotta do, but when you feel you can't, just...take a break.
That is some real depth.. I am a college drop out, and I have been helping in a school’s management. And every Saturday I take classes, Based on stuffs like self Improvement, finding goal, finding your purpose. Since childhood I had a helping nature and I wanted to help people in some way. So I figured out that the best example is myself. Who didn’t knew the purpose, to whom none of the teachers ever told you gotta find the purpose. Now my purpose is to be the light to those who are in the dark. My purpose is to make the school a better place for the kids. My Purpose is to help them in the early stage, so when they walk out of school and college they will be following what they want to do. So there will be no hole, they will be complete, no hollow or no selling of health for coins. It just started as an Idea to me. Thanks for your comment to remind me and make my morning even better. And for some the purpose of it all is hard to see. Maybe that's why we put focus on work because it is purpose driven. Relationships are purpose. Take away a person's job and their relationships and what do they have left?
