Really shows how exhaust is subjective to taste. I did the opposite. My C5 came with a BB Fusion catback (Bullets open, Bullets + Muffler closed) and after I added headers the drone from the open bullets was just terrible. The sound being closed was too quiet. So I went with the Corsa Xtreme. No drone, loud as hell and I like the 4" tips.
Hey Mark, do you still have the Billy Boat PRT exhaust on the C5? I have a Magnaflow Performance axle back and looking at the Corsa Extreme but think the PRT may be the way to go!

Why do people say no drone and corsa extreme are quiet in car. With longtubes and no cats you can definitely hear the car is loud on inside with corsas extreme...people exaggerate them being quiet.
@@SimplyJustRandomness drone and amount of sound are different things. I run LT/catted X pipe and Corsa Sport. There is no DRONE, but you can definitely hear the exhaust note. I can't imagine going to Extreme or PRT's...just from the ADDITIONAL amount of sound they must give. If I had stock manifolds/midpipe then Extreme's may be good.
I liked the video, but would’ve been a lil more helpful if ya gave it more throttle so we could really hear it. I ordered some Billy Boat for my C-5 and I’m hoping it sounds as good as yours. I have long-tube headers with cat-delete. But a good video irregardless.
Any feedback from a company called Stainless Works? They have a similar cat back system to Billy Boat around $1150 but I have no reference point. My technician from National Speed, Inc referred me to the product. Thanks.

My 2004 Z06 has longtubes highflow cats and the billy boat prt exhaust and I sounds fantastic. It had all of this stuff on it when I bought it.

Corsa extreme is the only way, I lucked out and traded a local for my old Magnaflow "performance" XL mufflers.

How long did you have to wait to get your Billy Boat exhaust? I had to wait 3 months for mine.
I traded someone locally for my Corsa Extremes.. so no wait.

Both sound nice. I liked the BB deeper tone at low RPM's better. The Corsa was too high pitched and raspy for my taste.

Why did you want the PRT over Extreme? What do you like about the PRT vs the Extreme?
It came down to personal preference. Both are nice. I liked the PRT as it has more bass & deeper tones. Also the downshift burbles are more pronounced

I have billy boat on my c6 Z06 plus it’s built and gets load as hell, but would take the bb over any other. Good luck.

Got my extremes on about a week ago really like them. Loud but not too loud. They have a deeper tone than the stock exhaust.

I like the BB better too. I had it on a C6 I had. I also had a can tune on the 02 Z06 I had along with an intake and axle back. It really woke it up.
