actually the chapstick theory is absolutely real because petroleum jelly is the main product in most chapsticks, which actually doesn't moisturize at ALL, but instead seals in the moisture you have on your lips already.. i always buy chapsticks with moisturizing products in them like shea butter, natural oils and hyaluronic acid
