The Holy Spirit then reminds me of what I have read some time ego to enable overcome sin each time am being tempted or being put to the test. Any other way to get God's voice? Impossible, how can one hear God's voice when he knows not his word that has preceded from him in eternity's past. It like I say, you all mostly know what you know in scriptures because it has been preached to you and not that you read scriptures.

Your Bible is what God has said, if you need to know what God is saying you have to open yourself up to his spirit. You can only operate in word of knowledge about a particular person or people based on what the spirit is saying and not what's written in the Bible. When you are operating in word of knowledge and you hear what the spirit is saying then you're hearing from God. Because the spirit speaks what he hears from God to you.
