Great video. I just installed mine and in the first 5 mins the co2 burst like crazy but then it died down very quickly. There is no bubble right now after 30 mins. Is it normal or am I doing it wrong? Thanks
On day two I found solution in the bubble chamber that Am. It was working on day one. I cleared but it seems my solution is significantly diminished. I will be fortunate to get even 5 days on the first setup.
I’ve heard a few people with this issue. I’m not sure where to start as I personally haven’t had this issue. Maybe round 2 attempt wiping out the upper part of the bottle so it doesn’t push solution into the lines.
@@AquatikGuru cleaned it up pretty much and continues to work. I just am disappointed that round one will end probably by day 4..probably just a gas burp as everything was clean at the start.
Thank you nice video , want to get this . But have few questions. 1) As we can't stop the co2 any increase in co2 causes ph to drop . Are we saying the co2 levels never go more than 30ppm. 2) Is co2 supply consistent . Did you face any co2 related algae. 3) How long does jelly last? 4) How frequently we need to change bio refill pack last?
I have not noticed much, if any change to the PH. Without having a drop checker it’s hard for me to say what the ppm is. Co2 supply is consistent after 48-72 hours of refill for roughly 3-4 weeks depending on room temperature. I have not noticed any algae unless I neglect recharging the kit when it seems inconsistent. The jelly has so far lasted well over 6 months for me on my first bottle. I believe it’s on its last refill session. Every time you refill, all you do is drain the old water, add the bio powder and new water. As stated above after around 4 weeks I change it out as the co2 levels seem slow.
@@AquatikGuru Thank you for a detailed response :) the refill pack contains bio powder or jelly based powder to. unfortunately there is no much description in the product website. as long as jelly is there we keep adding bio powder what if jelly is done like after 6 months , i understand we reset after every 3-4 weeks with bio powder.
I have a question, do you leave it run even at night? And do you have a link for the new diffuser? I would like to install this kit in my Fluval Flex 15 thank you
@@AquatikGuru hey thanks for the quick reply :-) was just afraid that i might be introducing excessive Co2 to the tank and end up suffocating the fish. I’m a newbie at using Co2 for my tank so I got worried.
With this kit, it doesn’t produce high enough levels of co2 to really cause any problems. If you’re concerned, simply add an air stone at night to help increase surface agitation as to help the co2 dissolve more rapidly.
Not with this system no. That being said, having surface agitation to guarantee no harm can be done definitely wouldn’t hurt such as an aerator stone. Other than that, this kit doesn’t release high levels of co2 like a pressurized co2 setup
Is it okay to run this co2 system 24/7? I got a hob filter on my planted tank and that produce a good flow to agitate the water but i hesitant to do 24/7 as im scared that it would cause some damage to the plants or the inhabitants of my tank.
Yes this kit needs to run 24/7. Trying to make it stop flowing co2 leads to the bottle bursting. It does produce low to mid levels of co2 vs the heavier duty pressurized systems.

@@AquatikGuru Ok cause I bought this but I'm barely getting any co2 out of it I tried reset but still not much co2, any advice would be much appreciated

Sounds like you lost pressure. Check the connections and make sure nothing came loose or damaged. I’ve had bad luck with the elbow leaking
Should i remove water and try again?

Yea I’ve heard that from a few cases. I apologize that I didn’t experience that to show y’all
Did you have to also have to buy a new aquario diffuser when you had to refill it?
No. I just clean mine and reuse it
Hi i just tried to reset so i remove the water then put 200ml and yeast but after 3 hours still no bubbles.
If there’s pressure but no bubbles you most likely have a problem in the airline bend. I kept kinking them.

Once you run out of jelly, you just order a Refill kit, refill it with new jelly mix and start over.
How long does it take after refill for the CO2 to start?
It varies. For me it’s ranged from 20 min to 3-4 hours
What is the relative price of refilling it with the powder every 50 days?
$20-30

Yes I leave it on all night as there is no way to shut it off. The new diffusers were horrible I’d stick with the aquario neo diffusers
May i know what is the size of the co2 bottle its 2litre or 4litre?
It is roughly 1 litre.
What happens when the jelly runs out? Mine has barely any jelly left after 1 year. What do you do when that happens?
You can purchase a kit that’s just to refill it. It comes with jelly and more of the reacting powder as well
I was wondering why you use the fluval diffuser?
I was just testing different variations for personal proof. I have to say the aquario diffusers are WAY WAY better!
