My mum used to like going to open homes just to be nosy and read the houses energy to see what she picked up. I love that you're doing these urban videos it is a break from the paranormal ones and it's nice.
These are so interesting! I think these homes were divided into rental units to keep them profitable. Unfortunately, that is inherently destructive. These beautiful homes ended up being in disinvested neighborhoods, long after they were built, of course. Zoning and historical status helps to protect them, but nobody is asking for zoning protection in neighborhoods without financial resources. If no one wants to live in an area, they're not going to spend the money to maintain a house like this, either. It's very sad!
I bet you're right. They were probably renting out the rooms (I imagine, as studio apartments). It is a shame that zoning protection is only something you see in 'gentrified' neighborhoods. Any city government can easily execute an order to condemn a home if the structure is deemed unsafe for its residents.
I can't get over how beautiful this house is! It would cost millions of dollars to fix this place up again and make it inhabitable, so it is very unlikely that will ever happen. With that in mind, do you think it would be unethical to go in and remove the woodworking, or any historical pieces, and restore them and place them in a new home? I wonder how the house would feel about that? 🤔 Eventually this place will be bulldozed, and there are so many beautiful things that could be salvaged.

can you do kelsi davies most recent video of the most haunted house in kansas called the 1858 garnett house. kelsi is a clairvoyant and she straight up had a panic attack because orius or a demon with a name along those lines was taking over her body and telling her it was gonna hurt her boyfriend drew who was out in the car because his back was hurting. he was being targeted the minute they had arrived, but kelsi's biggest fear is losing her boyfriend and the evil entity knew that and pushed her into a panic attack repeating how it was going to harm her boyfriend. i've seen multiple groups investigating that house and in my opinion and the investigators, this house was the most haunted and most evil BY FAR. it would be awesome if you could read that house and those that reside in it. there is alot of negative history.
I wish you could read the energy, (or come to the hotel I work at).. the weirdest thing I have ever seen happened last night, I asked another physic medium about it, she said there is 5 spirits roaming around my work. I always hear footsteps, and a piece of candy just appeared( shot out from a side of a shelf) onto a shelf at my work. I have a video of you want to see it, there's no explanation other than a spirit did it.
I think it would be fun to see you react to Nukes Top 5, its a supernatural channel. You could tell us if the videos are real and whatnot, he has some videos with creatures too so its not just ghost things.
I'm not surprised that the kitchen in is in the new wing of the house because the original home had a small building superette from the house where the kitchen was. Same with the bathroom was a budling superette from the house.

There was a Barack Obama Time magazine picture framed, so the last family to live there had to have been living there as recent as 2009. OK, I get the feeling they were told by the city that the house had to be brought up to code. And that is why you see some parts being renovated, but it became too much of a project, or they couldn't meet their deadline.
