You can't help but smile and giggle at the end (at how great that was)! The jumping robots of today never give you that kind of joy. I'd rather watch old clips of Michelle, Yuka, Lu, Oksana, Katarina or Dorothy any day.
I always loved Yuka's technique on the lutz, very subtle, glancing toe pick as oppose to the flutz ice drillers, she let her speed propel her into the air
@tony braxter Surya had no elegance, sloppy technique and no style or line. Idiots like you always cry racism when a black person doesn't get their way. Yuko is 100% better than Surya. And had the best SP and LP there. You realize the race card went out in like 1997, right?
Yuka be flying down the ice like she’s fleeing the scene of a crime. The speed during that footwork is unreal 🔥

I could watch her footwork forever. Wonderful jumping technique and spins, and her smile lights up the stadium.

K J Not trying to be shady, but you may need to get your eyes checked bc by no stretch of the imagination does Yuka pre-rotate her lutz.
@@russiaboy58Almost ever 90s girl had a 0.5 prerotation on their lutz except for like, Midori and Kristi.
She just floated across the ice... And her footwork was crazy mind exploding! I think I'm guud, but then there's Olympic guud!!!
my favorite SP of all time! ( along with Nancy's SP in 1991 and 1992)

Yes,this would go ahead of Bonaly without any doubt
Of course, because Bonaly was no where near the talent that Yuka was. Yet others still cannot get over that Surya was second
Bonaly’ behavior was disgusting. She should have been great full to be standing on the podium with Yuka Sato.
She should have been grateful for that medal, anyways. With a touchdown and 2 two-footed jumps, she was nowhere near Yuka’s clean program.
This is kind of similar to Robin Cousins 1980 short program.
She reminds me of s skater from Canada i cant remember her name.
Does anyone know the name of the music she's skating to?
Railway Children
Midori!!!!
haha - yeah midori :)
