What I love about you is you are a sensitive person and therefore can really get into the music. I love your reactions. Of course, Dimash is certainly easy on the ears and what amazes me is that he makes it look so easy. Dimash is home right not finishing up his studies. He will be graduating from the music college very soon if he did not already. That does not mean he is going to quit his studies. With Dimash studying is an ongoing thing. Dimash's teacher is encouraging her students not to try and sing like Dimash. I think she must not want her students ruining their voices trying the impossible. LOL Although I did hear she has one student that can hit all the high notes Dimash can. But, no one can sing like Dimash. I do not like negative people either, who does? I have made a pact with myself just to ignore them. They are not worth giving any power whatsoever. And they are not worth the high blood pressure i get initially. LOL Keep up your analysis.

Christel Bodin i think it was after he watched that fancam of dimash singing sos in cannes, dimash did as perfect as in the singer and he since that acknowledged that dimash indeed capable of singing THAT good without any tweaks from pitch correction or autotune.

I knew it, I knew you would feel familiar with those oriental runs because they have a middle eastern vibe to them, They are called makams, an originally Arabic word, and can be defined as a a system of melodic modes, they are used in Classical Middle eastern, North African,Turkish and central asian countries music.. I am sure you have an idea about them since you have Lebanese roots.
But you know what's crazy? I am not sure if anyone already told you this. These melismatic oriental runs are not native or typical for traditional Kazakh music - that is the uniqueness of Kazakh music - despite being surrounded by cultures with these middle eastern traditions , it still maintained its own, completely different direction. So Dimash actually had to learn these skills as an outsider.

That’s why I have a problem singing Arabic songs. I tend to sing quarter tones into semi-tones. If you think you’re failing at the Hello runs, then I’m a wreck. 😂😂😂 Btw, he sang “I love you” in English at the end of the first stanza, then in Chinese at the end of the second and third ones, then sang it in Kazakh (men seni suyenim), then he whispered in Chinese, Thank you so much.

okey let me explain. that run's called name a turkish art music and also little similiar muğam (azerbaijan and persian) technic. please checking this music style. dimash used to huseyni, nihavend and hicaz makam (runs) in this song. he's kazaks you know and kazaks be a turkic roots so he is a turks.
It is more prevalent in the middle east, actually the word "makam" itself is Arabic, Hijaz makam originated in Saudi Arabia while Huseini makan in Irak, Nivahand is Persian. Many others are Turkish So this style is used in Arab countries as well as in Iran and Turkic countries.
Have a listen to "Hello, is it me you're looking for". The chords are awesome, especially on the word "for". Wow! The accompaniment to this song only adds to the beauty of his voice. I am still in awe of this arrangement (Erlan Bekchurin).

Elegant, beautiful and, unexpectedly, such a harmonious move. And the magic flute ... In the final of the song "Mен сені сүйемін" (men seni süyemin) - "I love you" in Kazakh. How does he do that? Ive seen a lot of reactions, but u give the most...skilled reactions/information and in such an entertaining way. You obviously know your craft sooo well. And uve definitely become my favorite reactor! The first time i watched a vocal coach do a reaction to Dimash he actually shut off the video like a minute or so in and just bashed it for being fake lol and then later came out with a mocking video about him being fake again becauae he got so much backlash by viewers lolol I've since seen other reactions. Christel Bodin i think it was after he watched that fancam of dimash singing sos in cannes, dimash did as perfect as in the singer and he since that acknowledged that dimash indeed capable of singing THAT good without any tweaks from pitch correction or autotune.

I knew it, I knew you would feel familiar with those oriental runs because they have a middle eastern vibe to them, They are called makams, an originally Arabic word, and can be defined as a a system of melodic modes, they are used in Classical Middle eastern, North African,Turkish and central asian countries music.. I am sure you have an idea about them since you have Lebanese roots.

But you know what's crazy? I am not sure if anyone already told you this. These melismatic oriental runs are not native or typical for traditional Kazakh music - that is the uniqueness of Kazakh music - despite being surrounded by cultures with these middle eastern traditions , it still maintained its own, completely different direction. So Dimash actually had to learn these skills as an outsider.

That’s why I have a problem singing Arabic songs. I tend to sing quarter tones into semi-tones. If you think you’re failing at the Hello runs, then I’m a wreck. 😂😂😂
Btw, he sang “I love you” in English at the end of the first stanza, then in Chinese at the end of the second and third ones, then sang it in Kazakh (men seni suyenim), then he whispered in Chinese, Thank you so much.
Actually it’s not the “kh” sound at all, it’s the Arabic “q” sound (ق) . So you actually should pronounce it قزقستان

okey let me explain. that run's called name a turkish art music and also little similiar muğam (azerbaijan and persian) technic. please checking this music style. dimash used to huseyni, nihavend and hicaz makam (runs) in this song. he's kazaks you know and kazaks be a turkic roots so he is a turks.

It is more prevalent in the middle east, actually the word "makam" itself is Arabic, Hijaz makam originated in Saudi Arabia while Huseini makan in Irak, Nivahand is Persian. Many others are Turkish
So this style is used in Arab countries as well as in Iran and Turkic countries.
Have a listen to "Hello, is it me you're looking for". The chords are awesome, especially on the word "for". Wow! The accompaniment to this song only adds to the beauty of his voice. I am still in awe of this arrangement (Erlan Bekchurin).

The first time i watched a vocal coach do a reaction to Dimash he actually shut off the video like a minute or so in and just bashed it for being fake lol and then later came out with a mocking video about him being fake again becauae he got so much backlash by viewers lolol I've since seen other reactions.
