Praying you all stay safe and warm. Loved watching the Kiddos getting excited about paper. What a wonderful gift ❤ Loved seeing them being creative with their boxes 😍If I lived closer I would come and help you.
Those are the best gifts I love that the kids were still excited even tho it was toilet paper, paper towels, and paper plates. And it's a wonderful art project with all those boxes it will keep the kids busy for hours. Georgia is absolutely adorable. Nice to see you all again.
Oh my word, JJ has such a great laugh! You have such great viewers, those supplies will be so helpful in the coming weeks! Georgie is such a beauty, you are truly blessed to have her and the rest of the kiddos. Congratulations again to you and Sam!
That babygirl is as beautiful as all of her sisters and Mr. P is a spittin image of his daddy. Thank you all more the great content you share with us. God bless you and yours.
I've been learning so much from your videos about gardening and canning. I like how you are so honest and real. Congrats on the newest member of the family .
I just left Texas 11 degrees…. Driving back home and going thru west Texas… snow… then sleet/freezing rain… as well we Louisiana… hope y’all don’t get that knife cutting wind! Love watching the kids create with the boxes!
Laura your doing a great job after just having a baby a week ago. Such wonderful practical gifts you all received. I love seeing the kids be creative with the boxes. I also enjoy watching you and Sam work together as a team. I hope you were able to catch a nap!! Blessings!!
Georgia is such a doll baby! Thanks to Carolyn and Rhonda, you have such generous viewers. Your family is very loved by all of your subscribers. Stay warm and safe. 🥰👍
Those biscuits and gravy sure do look tasty and I am sure they are filling! We are sitting all bundled up with three big blankets each and it is five below wind chill right now. Good luck keeping warm and think about Spring and how nice it will be then. Have a good week.
We had an oil heater when I was growing up, it was in the front room of our house. I remember our mom laying blankets on top of the stove to warm them, then she would wrap each of us in a warm blanket, they felt really good when you crawled into your cold bed. I felt like it would be nice for your littles to have a special surprise, I ordered something for them today, It should be there by the 17th. Have a good day and keep warm. The lower speeds on my pellet stove fan have failed me, but thankfully we have been ok'd to run it at the higher speeds while they try to find a replacement part. It is always something.
I leave doors open under our sinks when the weather is calling for freezing temps. I also get thicker curtains and sometimes hang double curtains. This may sound silly but I roll towels up and place in windowsills to help keep out drafts too. Have a blessed day and keep warm.
I roll out my biscuit dough to a square or rectangle and just cut like a tic tac toe board. You have square biscuits instead of round but there is no re roll from the edges after cutting the round shape. I like it better…it’s just faster
We lived in an old farmhouse for most of our married lives, 57 years. For our 50th anniversary we bought a modular and it heats and cools like a dream. However, here in Northern Iowa, our temps. get to at least -20 degrees and we still have to keep the water dripping in the north bathroom. It's a bummer but we've lived with the same thing forever, so it feels normal. Hope you get things warmed up for Georgia and the rest of you. Love your channel..
Great labor saving gifts. How nice! I already have plastic on my windows. We got extreme cold a couple days ago, and it won't let up until Tuesday. This morning it was -10. I love my wood stove but it just supplements. Stay warm!
Just shocked that Missouri gets below zero! I put plastic around all our cellar windows and around our bedroom windows and any window that feels drafty. So we wrap about 6 windows upstairs and five in the cellar. Cellar windows are tiny though except for one. It helps. So does baking and cooking casseroles - anything that needs the oven to keep it comfortable. Our kitchen is the only room with no baseboards and it sucks up the warmth from other rooms if I don't cook. Do you start using the heaters before the temps drop so the heaters don't have to work so hard or does it not make a difference? Glad the pumpkin is healthy. Now that you have the staples, we will have to send some fun things.
It is frightfully cold today. I was planning to go to a 90th Birthday celebration, but I am staying inside, warm and safe. I hope you all stay warm and safe too. The paper products were a very thoughtful gift.
What a great items to help with having new baby. Toilet paper and paper plates and paper towels and baby wipes and baby sleeper thing.. That was sweet. I grew up drinking powder milk. I use it for cooking myself if I remember. I have powder milk in airtight container and in a tote in food sealer bags. I like powder milk. Make it and chill it and it’s ok for cereal or what ever.
@@TealHouseFarm a blender. The hand held ones work or my immersion blender that has a whisk attachment. My mom had a whisk old school that was coiled and worked great. Not the ones we use now.
I agree with you about powdered milk. Yuck!! I did stock up on some from the food pantry, and I will also use it only for cooking . All that toilet paper is awesome!! You can use the empty rolls to make fire starters. The house I grew up in didn't have heat upstairs either. We had a large supply of blankets. Take care and stay warm ❤️
We should get some big heavy quilts or warm blankets for really cold nights. I like being super bundled up…Sam likes being cold…so I guess I’ll get a blanket for me that I don’t have to share 😉
Here in MN temps are dropping during the day today, currently -8. I'm tempted to turn off my fuel oil furnace and turn on my ventless propane heaters to see how warm they keep the house should the power go out... 🤔
What a fantastic video! Laura you amaze me getting right back into "mom-ing" so quickly and I was thrilled to see all that TP and paper towels 😂 That breakfast recipe was something my husband would love...I love the Hillbilly Kitchen too. 😊 Would you ever use anything other than a spoon to open your jars? I got one that was actually 3D printed and seems like it would last forever! Let me know. Praying for you all to stay warm, and know that watching and learning from you all warmed my heart. Big hugs and love to you all! 💖🙏🥰
I have seen some neat jar openers but haven’t had the chance to try one! If you have one you love please share the link because I’ve been thinking about trying one to see if I can prevent the lids from bending 😀
You are very very blessed to get all that toilet paper for free! Some of us live paycheck to paycheck and run out of toilet paper before we get paid again! You should be very happy and excited
We are very thankful! We usually keep family cloth in the bathroom to save money on TP, because it’s just SO expensive. It’ll be nice to not have to worry about that for a bit!
I'm sorry that Georgia's sleep sacks aren't girl colors, only gender neutral colors were available when I ordered. I thought you wouldn't mind. I love having warm sleep sacks for my grand babies here in my cooler, older home also. I can put them in warm clothes and then in the warm safety of the sleep sack. It's below zero wind chill here, too. I grew up in a very cold house. In the winter when it was super cold my dad would drag the mattresses of the kids down to the living room where it was warmer and we'd camp out down there in super cold weather. Then he would stand them on their sides and stack them against the wall during the day. Stay safe and warm.
Thank you so much for sending them to us! She has PLENTY of pink things…a little color variation is nice. And they are so soft. Going to be perfect for the cold weather this weekend ❤️
Praying you all stay safe and warm. Loved watching the Kiddos getting excited about paper. What a wonderful gift ❤ Loved seeing them being creative with their boxes 😍If I lived closer I would come and help you.
❤❤ what a blessing that you got all those wonderful needful items your girls are so cute and what fun playing with all those boxes😊😊
Coming right along with the new baby coming home!! You folks always try your best to make your family comfortable!! Blessings to you all.
Useful gifts. That’s awesome. Blessings dear family
It’s like Christmas again🙏🏻🙏🏻💕
It is!
Hope you can stay safe and warm. We've been known to bunch up near the fireplace on really cold nights.
Those are the best gifts I love that the kids were still excited even tho it was toilet paper, paper towels, and paper plates. And it's a wonderful art project with all those boxes it will keep the kids busy for hours. Georgia is absolutely adorable. Nice to see you all again.
The kids love when they have boxes to be creative with!
Oh my word, JJ has such a great laugh! You have such great viewers, those supplies will be so helpful in the coming weeks! Georgie is such a beauty, you are truly blessed to have her and the rest of the kiddos. Congratulations again to you and Sam!
Lol I couldn't edit put her little evil cackle when she tried to collapse the tower...it was too good!
That babygirl is as beautiful as all of her sisters and Mr. P is a spittin image of his daddy. Thank you all more the great content you share with us. God bless you and yours.
Blessings for your beautiful family💕🙏 We used to put plastic on our windows in the winter. Makes a huge difference! Stay warm! 💕
It really does make a difference!
If you don't twist the biscuit cutter, the biscuits will rise even higher with more layers.
I didn't know this!
I've been learning so much from your videos about gardening and canning. I like how you are so honest and real. Congrats on the newest member of the family .
Thank you, Julie!
Those steaming biscuits look so good!!
So good!
Very kind of them to send such practical gifts! Praying y’all stay cozy and warm and NO frozen pipes.
Hello from the heart ❤️ of Illinois USA 🇺🇸
I'm sure everyone of those boxes represents hours of time saved...time that can be spent bonding OR even resting. My thanks to Rhonda and Carolyn.
Yes! So many chores that won't need done for a couple of months :-)
I just left Texas 11 degrees…. Driving back home and going thru west Texas… snow… then sleet/freezing rain… as well we Louisiana… hope y’all don’t get that knife cutting wind! Love watching the kids create with the boxes!
Have you thought about adding vents in the downstairs ceilings to help bring heat upstairs. My dad did and what a deference.
The people before us did add 2 ceiling vents that helps let air flow upstairs, so it helps a bit!
Laura your doing a great job after just having a baby a week ago. Such wonderful practical gifts you all received. I love seeing the kids be creative with the boxes. I also enjoy watching you and Sam work together as a team. I hope you were able to catch a nap!! Blessings!!
Boxes are my kids FAVORITE. It's always a big deal when we get an Amazon order in. We have to have a box rotation so there isn't fighting lol
Georgia is such a doll baby! Thanks to Carolyn and Rhonda, you have such generous viewers. Your family is very loved by all of your subscribers. Stay warm and safe. 🥰👍
Thank you so much!

Yes we have all the blankets out and everyone is snuggled up!
We had an oil heater when I was growing up, it was in the front room of our house. Thank you again for thinking of us! I hope you can get your stove fixed soon!
I leave doors open under our sinks when the weather is calling for freezing temps. I also get thicker curtains and sometimes hang double curtains. This may sound silly but I roll towels up and place in windowsills to help keep out drafts too. Have a blessed day and keep warm.
The towels on the windowsill is a great idea. Thanks!

Great idea!

Wow! -20! That's definitely too cold for me
You guys should make a playhouse with all the boxes and put pillows and blankets in there and watch a movie
They did! They ended up putting them all together to make a tunnel/house thing-a-ma-jig. Took up the whole living room 🤣
Great labor saving gifts. How nice! I already have plastic on my windows. We got extreme cold a couple days ago, and it won't let up until Tuesday. This morning it was -10. I love my wood stove but it just supplements. Stay warm!
you too!
For the spooky basement, maybe clear it all out, paint it white and maybe place some nice colorful items in there??? Just a thought.

Yes...we spent yesterday "pre-warming" the house so it could keep up better. So far so good!
I love how excited the kids were to play with the boxes. 😂😊😂
The LOVE being creative
Very thoughtful gifts! I use powdered milk in my baking and cooking also! Love it! Definitely will not drink a glass of it though 🤢 😂
I just can never quite get it 100% smooth and just one little chunk is enough to 🤢
Back in the 70s with a house hold 9 my mom would mix the milk half whole milk with powderd milk to help it stretch.we didnt know the difference.
I might have to try that and see if anyone notices!
It is frightfully cold today. I was planning to go to a 90th Birthday celebration, but I am staying inside, warm and safe. I hope you all stay warm and safe too.
The paper products were a very thoughtful gift.
I hope you stayed warm today!
Currently 14° in the Missouri Ozarks, and the predicted low for tonight is -8°.
I know. Not excited!
What fantastic gifts! Very thoughtful 👍
Yes it was!

Do you have a trick to really getting it well blending? I feel like I can never quite get all the little powder chunks mixed in
@@TealHouseFarm a blender. The hand held ones work or my immersion blender that has a whisk attachment.
My mom had a whisk old school that was coiled and worked great. Not the ones we use now.
What thoughtful gifts. Super sweet people! It can be a little more relaxed now with Georgia.
We are so thankful!

We have one propane heater and it is definitely hot hot hot. It's just so expensive to run!
