      She’s 4c. 4c Hair has a springy soft look. 4c has a curl pattern it just super tight. We need to realize that all Type 4 hair is curly, some just curlier than others. 4c tends to be the curliest.

    Awesome video! I’ve never tried these products, but I want to. My favorite WNG products are the Mane Choice braid out glaze 🙌🏾 and Aunt Jackie’s Curl Boss. They guarantee a great WNG every time. 💛

    this is a great wash n go! have you experienced any color damage from your hair? and i am the twist out queen so I don't do wash n gos often on my 4c hair cause the shrinkage is definitely real! but since it has gotten longer, I'm considering it

    • @AseaMae
      @AseaMae  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      malikah bey Thanks queen! So I actually haven’t noticed any damage. My hair is thriving well 🙌🏾. I did have to play around with products to see what works for my hair which was 7 days of struggle, but now it’s doing great. Girl my shrinkage is HORRRIBLE too. Like if I didn’t two strand twist the first night to stretch it I would wake up with a crazy amount of single strand knots, and a wool hat 😭. I honestly don’t even play with my hair like that cuz my tangles can get so bad to the point of just having to cut them out.

    Is there a reason why you put gel BEFORE the curl cream?

    • @AseaMae
      @AseaMae  6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Amy Long It’s not clickbait. I have 4c hair. My hair is a mixture of textures 4b/4c. Thanks for watching tho.

      Girl cut the bullshit before it spreads! She is a 4b/c type. Your type is mainly determined on the texture when fully dry & stripped of product. She may have finer strands as a 4c type, which give the appearance of more curls. She is def of the 4b 4c type.

    • @iateyursandwiches

      Youre confusing easy of defining with ease of maintaining hold. Those are different things and go beyond just curl pattern. Her strands are fine, so it's easy to define(weigh down) without a heavy gel like eco styler. I know since i have the same type. Also, she is probably high porosity.
      My (4c)hair in the front and crown especially will not hold for more than an few hours without a gel but it can define with just a heavy cream.
      Notice she had to use all 3 products while people looser patterns can get away with just the cream or the get and leave in.
      Look how tiny the diameter of her coils are then look at a person's like naptual85 who is the greatest example of true 4a.

    • @Icyjessy1

      She could have said 4b/4c instead of just 4c. Especially since there are kinkier hair types than this. It is sort of clickbait.
      And hair type is NOT determined by your hair when it is dry dry. That makes no sense because no one carries their dry hair about and most type 4s including 4a and some 3cs have fluff when their hair is dry. My 3c/4a/4b hair gets spongy, frizzy and has no pattern whatsoever it is dry but become almost wavy and silky under running water because I'm high porosity. Imagine if I start calling myself 4c and then tell real 4c girls that they can achieve my curl pattern. Curl pattern typing should be done on moisturized hair

      @@iateyursandwiches I don't believe in using someone's hair as a model for 4a. I live in West Africa so I've seen kinkier hair than this youtuber. If I use what I've seen as a model for 4c hair then she won't make the cut. You can have 4a hair without looking like naptural 85. It's hardly fair to say 4a hair only has 1 size and 1 look while 4c has plenty especially when the curl diameters were never defined. There will also curl patterns that will be inbetween. I do believe she is btw 4b and 4c though
