This show needs a reboot. I really enjoyed this game show.
It's my favorite game show. I also like almost as much (but not quite) 'Blockbusters' with Bill Cullen. Now Buzzr is soon going to air another forgotten one called 'Talk About'.
Ask ABC and Burt Sugarman and it can be done.
$25,000 was a lot of money in 1979, equivalent to about $103,595 in 2023. it was the most you could win on a CBS game show at the time at once and you could only keep up to $35,000
The first victory cue makes me cry.
I really love this game show. Wished Buzzr would bring it back. So much fun to watch. Wouldn't mind a reboot. Probably won't happen, since it had a short run.
I did the math. If you ran the board going up the far right side all the way, that was $750. Successfully having your opponent hit all 6 blocks you place on the far right would be another $750, giving you $1500, meaning the maximum amount of time any player could have would be 75 seconds (60+ 15 seconds of bonus time per $100 won up front). I know...I need a life😂😂😂
I'm Impressed! Great Job!
You forgot one little piece-a third round could be needed. Meaning another 750 or 2250 in total. Or 82 insane seconds to win. The odds of an opponent hitting all 6 blocks and winning the round might as well be zero though.
Such an amazing compilation! I was highly entertained!
Thank You Very Much!
You're very welcome,@@entertainmentunlimited3865 !
Tom Kennedy was and still is one of my favorite TV people ever.
Yay I'm glad he won lol
I never would've guess that Tom Kennedy (John Edward Narz) was the younger brother of Jack Narz. They seem NOTHING alike!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
James Edward Narz, it actually was.
Sad that this show didn’t make it
They should do it to 100k
5:09 Randy had to meet the 10 of the most black hearted brigands who ever stood between a forthcoming student and his money
In my early days online, I occasionally got to communicate eith Randy. He was a class act,, through and through. It's a shame he never lived to see his appearances resurface...he missed it by less than one day of his passing, then 20 years later, we got the series on BUZZR.
19:53 In 1970 TV's Monday Night Football Made Of Star Of What Sportscaster?
Howard Cosell
Where's the winners compilation with the celebrities in it
8:30 "total of 69 seconds" Nice.
Coming soon: 1980 winners.
Funny bloopers.
Tom was enough of a professional he should have said we will check the tape on the last one. That was clearly close enough.
that girl Gwendolyn won that one by a hair...she shouted out the answer just a split second before they yelled "TIME'S UP!"
Unpopular opinion, but she blurted out Dodgers after the clock hit zero. IMHO, she lost.
The first win, sounds like they didn't have proper music run , and whatever ran was short,no lights flashing
Holy smokes, 2 $25,000 winners in a row!!
he need a lawman
24:02 HE SAID IT BEFORE THE "TIMES UP" SIGNAL HIT!
I think the initial call was based on the fact the keyword of "Fudd" was not said before the villains called out "TIIIIIME'S UUUUUP!". However, after a more in-depth review, he was saying the full name of "Elmer Fudd", and since it is part of the name of the character, they decided that him saying the word "Elmer" was the actual start of him calling out the answer, and as long as you are saying the essence of the answer before the time expires, game shows usually give credit to the player.
@@lojosol And I believe Pyramid Winners' Circle judging worked along the same lines.
@@bmasters1981
Pyramid's buzzers were automatic, so they went by the buzzer. Whew!'s buzzers weren't, so they went by the clock hitting 0. Hugh started saying "Fudd" a fraction of a second too late.
Tilt!
Like a mother freaking pinball machine 😅!!
Wonders what happened to that music cue when you won.
@14:59, is that Jay's voice?
