Good install video, as someone who does lift kits on all sort of vehicles befor you hammer on a bolt put the nut on the back end so you don’t damage the threads
Did this yesterday and both tie rods wouldn’t come loose. I was able to get it all back together with the kit installed accept for the sway bar. It’s my brothers truck and he’s going to end up having to drive it around the block to a tire shop and have them instal the sway bar and align the wheels. Also if you don’t have a grinder harbor freight has one for $20 that worked nicely for me. Oh and I NEEDED an impact to knock loose the sway bar bolt. Edit: Forgot to update that I was easily able to get everything in place using the jack under the control arm. And if you can’t get the tie rods out it can still be done with them connected. Just more strenuous.

I want to level my truck but I want to lower the rear end to the same height as the front end in its stock height. Does anyone sell a rear leveling kit?
I'm a little confused, you show how to replace the ABS wire bracket at 6:05, then you grind the OE strut at 6:49 then it's reassembled but I never saw how or where the 1-inch lift is installed? Did I miss something?
It will only void repairs that needed due to that modifcation. ex. If you blow a strut under factory warranty and have aftermarket strut spacers the strut will not be warrantied.
It’s probably a two Jack type of job. So when you have one side in the air you literally take the jack and jack it so it pushes down and you are good to go.
Because it's a pickup and meant to have weight in the bed at times. Now when he gets weight in the bed he will lose steering input because there won't be enough weight on the front tires(ie: can be dangerous). There's a reason they are made like this!

After you grind the assembly you should be cleaning and protecting that bare steel.
Did you have to do a wheel alignment after the leveling instal?

All you have to do to get the sway bar to fit in the hole is to get a second jack and jack the lower control arm up. It will work perfect.
@@BlakesCars2 You know what’s funny. I did that so I could get the wheel back on and didn’t even consider the sway bar. Thanks I’ll try it later.
Looks good. Should get an alignment after that.
Never got an alignment after it and have put 100,000 miles on the car since then and the tires still look perfect

Watch the end, you'll see the lift plate on the strut.

I’m pretty sure no but I’m sure someone will make one officially. I have a hard tome seeing how the hybrid would use a different setup

Not sure it improved, but nothing got worse. The extra ground clearance is a nice addition

Think I'd go for the one or two inch lift and keep the stock 'level' so once you get weight in the rear you don't lose steering weight.
Could always install helper air springs in the rear coils. eTrailer has one for it that will level out up to 1000lbs

Did you gain any space with the wheel turned all the way in? I know in a previous video you were pretty much nuts to butts touching the wheel well

that's why you do a 2 inch up front and a 1 inch in the rear ... levels it out then brings it all up 1 inch

Because they're intended to be loaded in the rear. More space for load
Pickup trucks maybe loaded 1 time in a 100 that much.
