IMO eliminator racing defense should be a step lower than track racing since it's offroad, but the racer shouldn't be able to ram, block push, or shove if he can't take it himself.
Yah track racing should definitely be cleaner since the track is narrower, there are more opponents, and you're not trying to eliminate them. And yes, it goes both ways in the Eliminator
Along with finding a good car drop, blocking a much better car to victory is the equivalent of find a £20 / $20 / €20 in your pocket unexpectedly.

It's called Eliminator... you eliminate opponents by reaching the finish line first. Everything that happens before between the cars is fair game. You had a slower car... if the other drivers was not a Lemming, he would have understood that you were there to defend. Simple solution: change side of the highway and overtake you safely.
On the final showdown, that's a ballsy move to exit the highway there when the finish line is at the end of the peninsula. 😮
Yah, defending there was my only chance at winning that race. As for the FS; maybe I should have stayed on the highway a bit longer.. thankfully the end result didn't change 😄

I definitely would have taken the route of the Mercedes driver
@@el_p1nko LOL... the only case I would use the direct route would be if I'm second in a slower car. Otherwise, leave the highway after the bridge and aim for the west side of the peninsula.
i consider clean racing to be fair and not ramming.
But when we see a seal clubbing attempt, all bets are off, and the seal can do anything against the bully with a severely more powerful vehicle
Yah in the Eliminator I will often defend my position against my opponent, but I also try not to interfere with anyone I'm not racing
I’d of done exactly the same! If someone wants to race then racing is racing! He chased you, you schooled him! I’d of done exactly the same 👌🏼

Beautiful blocking, I fully agree with your disclaimer - in your own race anything goes - but it's bad manners to negatively interfere in someone else's race. Also I achieved my 200th win the other day, in less than half the number of races which my first 100 took! The game against you in RS200s from the desert festival was about 190 ish :) - tufter3000

You weren't on equal terms when it came to cars, were you? so your defense, although tough and, why not say it, fun (your opponent had an unexpected run-in with a bridge and what it means to fall from it🤣) fits the need👨⚖

What is that pink dot appearing on the mini map for a very short moment at about 6:22?
I‘ve had this myself several times in the same area.
I think it's a connection bug, but I could be wrong. It doesn't make sense since I have fast internet..
@@StriderZYT I think it‘s a game bug as for me I always notice this around this exact area around the highway west of the pyramids.

just wondering when you were sure what the final circle would be?
I had my suspicion after the second race.
I'm not sure, but it probably wasn't that early 😄It's definitely harder to know near the start of the game, but then it gets easier as the game progresses
@@StriderZYT my thinking: at the start for me three circles were possible, „ruins“, „east of pyramids“ and „cloverleaf“, the second circle gave a hint it might be be „ruins“, but the finish line of the second race indicated „cloverleaf“… and in the end it was indeed cloverleaf

@@StriderZYT I think it‘s the most important factor knowing where races go as early as possible.
I know it pretty well in the last two circles and pretty badly in many scenarios in the first two circles. And my success rate in the first two circles is definitely waaay worse than in the last two.
I always wonder whether I am just dumb to not know it better for the first two circles or whether everyone else is in the same boat.
Some players seem to know pretty well in the first two circles already….
Some circles are obvious from the beginning (all 4 in the east, baja, also the one southwest of the pyramids, but especially for mulege/lava/mountain/stadium I am usually clueless until I see the third circle…).
about the Escort race: fair game. Annoying, but fair game.
I don‘t get why PG is actively supporting griefing by third party players, though.
Apparently they want the scum of the earth playing their games.
But livery editors are a bannable offense.
Yah I don't understand 3rd party griefing.. it's probably fair game, but I tend to stay away from it

And the PG marketing department probably thinks that without this the mode is not random enough.

In the start of the video..., pls, for another round, Porsche is better, in top speed and suspension, you can easily get a better round with the cholla at the start, anyways, do not go for the wannabe version of a level 2 rally car, go for speed and stability, like Golf R and the already mentioned Porsche 911 Carrera S
Ok, the Escort is not a rally wannabe car, but is RWD, a legitmate rally car, is the Peugeot 205 Turbo.
@@gzillfr4243 for me the difference between the Porsche and Escort wasn't big enough to swap it. However, a Golf would definitely have been worth it
