Vampire Jet Aircraft - Forbes NSW

This is the story and history of Vampire A79-109 located on a pole in Forbes NSW.
The recently restored aeroplane is an icon in the Town and once more stands resplendent on the banks of Lake Forbes.

I remember having a really close look at this Vampire when it was in Ray Sharps yard in the 80's , for a light resto. He was the guy who made the light coloured canopy. Or did he just paint the original one?
