June 18, 2024. Coming back here after watching the latest Nintendo Direct. Mario's Rainbow Castle is returning in Super Mario Party Jamboree.
Remember when some older person was telling you that you would miss the day you were a kid ? You didnt care back then but now, hearing this music, you kinda get them =) Greetings from Portugal!

This was always my favorite song when I first heard it, and about 25 years later, it's still one of the if not the best video game music of all time in my opinion. Still easily top 3 on my list!

The sense of nostalgia you get when playing this board is unforgettable. I remember being so young, and sitting on the sofa with my cousins, without a care in the world, playing this amazing board. I always won!

I'm crying... when I was a kid I loved playing Mario Party. Peach and Yoshi were my favorite characters. I wish I could go back in time and relive these precious memories. 😢❤

***** Here's the catch for Mario Party 1; If you lose a specific 4 player minigame, you lose coins to the winners, or everyone loses coins, lose a 2v2 or 1v3 minigame, you pay up to the winning side of the scale..

Yeah, remember playing Mario Party 2 a few years ago. Don't exactly know how it's called in english now, but basically I was ahead 7 stars and 10 coins or so and then Stars and Coins switched with a Computer with no Stars or Coins whatsoever in the last few round.. I kind of raged after that xD

I hope Mario’s Rainbow Castle returns in Mario Party Superstars as either an unlockable board or future DLC
I wish it made it in. Way better and more memorable than Tropical Island could ever hope to be.
@@nuclearpzn nah removal island is a great board. They should’ve picked this one over the birthday cake which is a pretty boring board imo since there’s no boo
@@stargamer8878 I've warmed up to Tropical Island as of late, but it's still my least favorite board in Suoerstars. I think Birtnday Cake is a great, chaotic board. With the coin and star stealing gimmick, I don't think it really needs Boo.

Hey my friends! Its the 2. April 2021! And in 3 days i will turn 30! Its corona and people are not allowed to stay longer than 9pm here! Im living with my girlfriend in our new apartment now, we had some drinks and i can feel the alcohol now! And as everybody just left, this popped up in my head! y'know, this theme could pass as a starting town theme for some game.
It feels more like a character encounter from an RPG. Like meeting your new friend or Mom. It loops a little too fast for a town theme.
Of course it could. It comes from a masterful composer renowned for making music for some of the best JRPGs ever made like Chrono Trigger: Yasunori Mitsuda.

***** 1-3 were BY FAR the best 4 was decent as soon as they got rid of the mini game star and the coin star and relied more on luck to determine winners the game went bad.

I think that the mini-games, music and boards in the Gamecube games were of the same quality as the ones in the Nintendo 64 games. I agree with you about Bowser though. I love Bowser's Appearing Act from Mario Party 2. Chance Time was in all of the Gamecube Mario Parties except for Mario Party 7. Also, dueling in the Last 5 Turns when you land on the same space as someone else is standard for Mario Party.

me and some friends regularly play the original mario party games for the 64 over the internet. the nostalgia is fun but holy jesus did i not remember this board in particular being so brutal. it completely betrays the nice soft vibe it has with this music lmao

We need a mario party where you can play the best boards / minigames on a certain mode. Imagine, getting to chose between the best boards (Snowflake Lake, Horror Land, Pirate Dream, Woody Woods, Toad's Midway Madness, etc.) and the best mini-games (Pushy Penguins, Locked Out, Toadstool Titans, Piranha Pursuit, Crazy Cutters, Face Lift, Mowtown, Boonanza & so many others). That'd be a dream came true
Raphaël Rivest better yet, we need a Mario Party Maker where we can created our own party board, play our mii(but we can also dress up our mii with cloth, hat, accessories, shoe, and costume to dress up Mario Characters and buy it with coins), unlock some space, decorations, and etc to decorate your broad and you can change background, create our own mini game, we can also add music from music setting(from any Mario game) to our broad we have created. We can unlock spaces from the any preciously Mario parties games.
