Please, find a loop with a 6% grade 3+ minute climb, some punchy, grunt climbs, rock gardens, and steep descent, with 180° switchbacks. Put the same tires on an XC, Trail, and Enduro. Get 3 good riders that are about the same size and have them do 30 minutes on each bike using Favero mtb pedals and HR monitors. Then, put on the Fox Neo Live system on the trail bike and compare. We already know the Enduro bike will slower on the uphill portion, but the power output and HR data will be interesting to see the difference. And we will also find out if the shock controls make a difference.
Yep! If you check out the Frameworks team, you will notice it on most of their DH rigs. it has even been race (and won on) by you current Jr World Champion Asa Vermette.
Its a mountain bike We ride to get out into the woods and away from all the electronics that face us on a daily basis. The only electronics I want are by phone in my backpack for emergencies, maybe my garmin watch, although riding a lot without it now and a really good set of lights to allow me to ride in the winter. Electronic gears, suspension, dropper posts is a no from me and a lot of people, because mechanical is just as good and so much cheaper.
My question is why you need to purchase the additional $400 for the sensors, that ARE required in order for the shock to even work… So let me see… The shock is 1k by itself, and in order for it to work, you need to buy the additional sensors @$400.. So REALLY this shock is $1500 to the consumer. Are you mental… How can this technology boast it may be something that works for you, presumably, while 1ms at speed is like forever. Slow system while using the app to compensate for weak application. PASS.
I like it but first bring back Dialed.
Maybe it will fund Dialed!

Is there going to be an upgrade option to existing shocks?
No upgrade. The Live Valve shocks are solid as their own product.
Is this product useful for endurance XC races or is it too heavy?
it is really cool.
Will this application be for downhill bikes as well eg fox float X2 and DHX2

Nope! The only sensors are mounted on the front and rear brake calipers .
@@FOXFACTORY nice, take that sram😂
“20x faster than our closest competitor”. Come on just say it.
WANT!!!
yea you do!
I don't like it, but also please first bring back Dialed.
More bike compnents that need charging or a coin cell....more and more, every year :)
Provide some real-world data. Prove the performance.
Is it another case of $800 or £1,500?!🙄👎🏻
