- The 3 valves at the start are how you do the challenge. Unfortunately, I literally can't do the challenge as part of this video because 2 secret orbs require you to enter water.
P rank is so much harder because the time is way shorter. If you're stuck, tips are: main hub should be clear in under 45 seconds (restart run if it takes longer than 58) to go the room dead ahead with the cavern (because this is the hardest of the three enter it first to see if your run is over) if the timer is past 2:50 restart, do the room with the big pit next and whiplash the green orbs then cancel by wiplashing again to maintain speed (fly from orb to orb like a ninja if you're getting hit a lot. also use this to get through airlock tunnels faster), do the demon room next then proceed to the jump pad with at this point 3:40-4:40 left on the timer (restart if timer is past 5:10) for the two soldier and drone spawn before the sentry fight use a core airburst to save a second or two, to kill a sentry quick (and also render it harmless) shoot a magnet into a ceiling or wall then shoot nails into the sentry to make it stick then use the rocket launcher for the airborne enemy damage boost to quickly kill. Aside from the combat you can also shave time off of the intro (for example: after wiplashing the blue orb over the pit, slide the moment your feet hit the ground for boost that gets you through half the twisty tunnel nearly instantly). Most of the small tricks only shave off a second or two but every second counts (in this video they finished with 1.385 seconds to spare. If they had perhaps spoofed a whiplash orb or bounced off a wall funny they would have scored s) even with a plan and some tricks, it's still gonna take a while but just keep trying

I once got a P-rank in one prelude level when I was new to the game, I was looking for secrets and when I found one I killed all remaining enemies and progressed to the next room, somehow the time I got ended up being a S, and I don't know how I got a S on style. Getting a P-rank on accident is really good.

I think P ranks are too easy,like,I'm kinda bad at the game yet I have P rank an all levels (excluding 6-1,I nearly got P rank there but I missed 1 kill)

10 whole fucking weapons at your disposal, yet it's appearently "not enough" for you because you think that the new ranking system sucks because pboost spam doesn't give you an easy ultrakill rank. honestly just get better, it's that easy

The timer starts at 0:02 and stops at 6:17 ...how come your time was 5:58 and not 6:15 (Not P rank) ?
the ingame timer pauses with anything that stops time like projectile boosting, parrying, interrupting

Do cool shit + avoid damage
swap weapons more, and I cannot stress enough, DON'T TAKE DAMAGE. it murders your style

How much harder is P rank now?
If you weren't switching weapons often before, it'll be harder. If you were switching weapons constantly already then the style changes are a non-issue for P rank.

It's called slam storage, you can do it too, just go to a wall, do a slam and quickly wall jump before touching the ground then, some yellow particles appear, the same as when you slam even tho you are wall jumping, and when you touch the ground just jump. i recommend you go checking out herb messiah, he does a good job teaching movement and weapon tech

Don't slams cancel all your horizontal velocities?
@@mursie100 when you jump next to a wall it makes you wall jump which stops the slam from cancelling your "horizontal velocities", just try it
@@Drukiii basically just jump to a wall and right when you touch it ctrl+jump same time and jump once more for the boost when you touch the ground
