- I've wanted to make a tier list to rank all the old Cerberus Project delfs since I made the chitchat video talking about them, and I finally decided to just do it~

I've only been in the hobby for 3 years, so CP/Delfs are just legends to me, but I loved seeing all the sculpts. I think if they were still available, even though they may not be 'the style' anymore, I'd definitely would get a Breakaway and Shiwoo; those two are my favorites. Thank you for sharing your doll memories, too. :)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed hearing my memories of CP delfs. They're not the current trend anymore but they have a special place in my heart :) Breakaway and Shiwoo are both so charming! They do come up in the 2nd hand market from time to time so if you ever are inclined to you can probably still get them ^^ They still get snatched up pretty quickly though, so I think they're still loved by many collectors :3
It's so interesting to look back on the older styles of bjds. I can see how certain features or aesthetics have lived on through today and are still popular.
The eyes on all of them seem so large to me. Many of my dolls have more realistic eye shapes and sizes and I make a lot of small iris eyes for them.
My first bjd was a YOSD Daisy from charmdoll, and she looks very youthful and childlike.
It's also fun to see the evolution of faceup looks throughout the years.
I love thicccc eyebrows, so they all have thin eyebrows to me haha
Haha yea, this was a trip down memory lane. I feel like the aesthetics that used to be popular are less so now? Big eyes are definitely something less preferred nowadays. Small irises are also more common now! Cool that you make your own eyes :) As for eyebrows, I get what you mean. Looking at some of the default faceups reminds me of plucked brows that was a 90s thing... probably also because the brows are quite arched too. I love thick brows too, my Lishe boy current faceup has thick brows haha

I was looking up some Delf related thing and happened upon this video! Imagine my surprise when my Dark Elf Soo appeared!!! 😳 Hehehe I'm so honored that she improved your opinion of Soo! 😂 To be honest I've never been a fan of Soo. I only ended up with mine because I got her in a trade! I had no idea I was going to love her so much. Btw I'm also the person who put Moon on a Feeple65 body 😂 The proportion is really good but to be perfect it needs a neck mod.
If I were to do this tier list, the top tiers would be a little bit rearranged, but I fully agree with your F tier. For some of the sculpts it would be hard to decide, because I feel strongly about their different versions. I don't like open-eyed Lishe very much, but I absolutely love her dreaming version, and same with Shiwoo and Luwen. CP's dreaming sculpts were just sooo good! Even the sleeping sculpts were very cute. Sleeping Woosoo and Yder are sculpts I would still love to get someday.
Oh wowww, I didn't think you'll chance upon this video 🙈😳 Ahhh I love your dolls, they always catch up attention whenever I search for photos of CP delfs (I love all your ELs too!!) I didn't realise the Moon on F65 body was yours too haha. It's so interesting that your Soo was an unexpected doll that you grew to love!
The F tiers I think are somewhat consistent with the less popular/less owned delfs... so I guess that makes sense haha. Though I wonder if not as many people owning them meant I never got to see their potential with different faceups and stylings. Oh yea, I also think the OE, sleeping, dreaming, elf etc. versions all rank slightly differently within the same sculpt, and some would go much higher than others (I generally preferred any version over the OE haha, and I'm super biased towards the dreaming sculpts ♡)
This was such a pleasant watch. I appreciated that you took so much time editing and making the list easy on the eyes. I wasn't in the hobby when CP Delfs were the rage, so this was a cute window into the past. A switch ranking could be cool. If you feel like giving F's is too harsh, you could rename the tiers.

I'm happy to hear the effort I spent editing helped make this a easier watch :3 I think more than just giving F rank, I feel bad if I mention something I dislike and it brings that feature to other people's awareness? I'm still thinking about that Switch one (they have about double the amount of sculpts I did here and I can't imagine how much time I'll need to make it haha)
Thank you for making this video, it re-sparked my love of old Delfs and I ended purchasing an old Chiwoo! He arrived yesterday and I've been having fun fixing him up. It seems like he's going to be a pain to dress though lol

Sounds like a fun project to be fixing him up! Why does he seem like a pain to dress? Is it because it's harder to find Delf sized clothes nowadays?
@@cian1675 Yep. It seems that Delf or even SD10B clothing is pretty scarce. And I'm pretty picky about style which really doesn't help.
@@isobel1942 Ah yeah, it's not an easy size to find especially if you want it to be fitting as well. Nowadays, I usually end up getting SD13B items for my Lishe boy, or just subject him to baggy clothes from the rest of my SD17 crew lol
