- Quad Standard Labs sent out to me a dummy komodo weight and a few different sets of props to help develop a tune for the Shendrones Siccario. I wanted to bring you along for the journey, as well as the process that I use to tune Cinelifters (and all drones for that matter).

Nurk, just to note one thing, don't know if somebody else mentioned it or not but I think having loose stuff inside the fake camera body might affect flight characteristics because the center of gravity changes when pebbles move around inside the body if that's not at 100% full.
Nashville area is currently frozen solid so im creating nurk drinking games, if he has the orange pants on take a shot. If he crashes something take a shot, and take a shot for every power up tone

The dogs and I are patently waiting for this! Literally they will be the first ones to see me fly this as with all the other quads. I wish they would let me build the insider.. but it's way too loud for them. Love all the work man thank you so much for the great content!

im soon to do maiden with my lifter and start tuning proccess with two packs 6s 6200mah this vid made me feel better 😂 ill have to spend packs and write down what needs fixing go charge packs and test another flight lol that will be lenghty tuning but wtf can i do charge them with multiple smaller batteries ???.... wait.... hmmmm 🤔
I want a cinelifter and I'd settle for less than a red komodo. I'm fortunate to have a mav2pro. And 2 years in I just started fpv . Maybe one of these days . Check out my stuff if you like I'm 2 months in with fpv I feel I'm ahead of the curve but not on your lev for sure. Love your videos. Maybe one day we trade beard secrets to lmao

Man I love that but there is only one thing I could think of to make it more omg lol hock up a 360 fov camera to the analog transmitter and get a real front seat view win in Goggles. Might have to find a way to lock the in view camera so win you turn you ceep locking straight ahead. Or am I not thinking right I am still new to this
I didn't think of this but if you were to use a 360 go pro and open it up and use it you could eliminate weight cas you only need the one camera to see and record hd video sorry I no this is off topic just had the idea watching your video

I can almost tell you what week of the year this was taken given the snow cover. (i'm in a neighboring state). Ah, those were good times.
I think it's actually only the 2 extremes innovating at the "whole craft" scale for FPV, whilst simultaneously within the community at the moment. The 1S, 2S FPV cycle posse badboys (and maybe bobs new 5") or the $10k cine bigrig Shendrones massive. I'm gonna have to put my money on Shen to reach x-wing upgrade level first.

I run the HQ 7x4x3 durable on my 7" beast quad, and they are sweet, might be worth a try! I wonder how that would fly with the 7" foldables?!!

I have to say, the scoring on that last flight, with the lighting and pacing of the flight - THIS is why you are the benchmark to which all flying of this type is judged in terms of actual output. A 'tuning day' still produced an immensely enjoyable cinematic experience.
Have you tried running the 2812-1115kvs with 8 inch? Seems to be the direction some are going.
I really would have thought the 8” props would be perfect for that kind of heavy lifter setup but in my opinion it looked like the 7” props did sooooooo much better in flight for the footage. Surprising!

As an all around, im going to use a canon eos-r. But would like to eventually upgrade to the red komodo.
would be nice to have flightimecomparison between 7inch and 8inch ... but for now it seems that if u need the punch to capture your motive => 7inch ... if not 8inch :)

Yeah those 8x4.5s are too thick no pun intended. Hoping I can get a sicc up and running soon. Better CG looks like it makes a huge difference.
