@@2kTeacher Ya but sometimes guys get their talents shown when on a better team. Case in point here. He has more teammates who are offensive threats so he can get some better looks.

Carolina is either red hot or ice cold. But they have been playing great ball at the right time.

The Tarheels playing with house money an cashing in. One of the dangerous team in the tournament when they are playing at a high level. Brady Manek is building his stock up as a long shot for the NBA. Baylor will be a a tougher opponent for sure but this team is capable of taking them down. Go Heels!
I think it will be a good challenge. Winning this one definetly gives us some great momentum/confidence

Wow. This team has been an enigma. Meanwhile the one-and-done chumps at UK are done. I feel fairly confident Duke will see a similar fate. One of the many things about UNC I love is the development of talent. Instead of gambling on guys being on the team for one year, UNC develops the talent and you can see the trends by final fours and title runs. For example, seeing Puff drastically improve shows the system is much stronger than any other out there. This isn’t the same Tar Heel squad we saw in the beginning of the season. If they continue to play like this then there’s no reason they can’t push themselves into the Elite 8, or further. After all, this is the most successful program over the last 50 years in college basketball. Hats off to them.
I mean Marquette killed themselves in this game, I think unc would of won anyway even if Marquette did better. Nonthless, Baylor vs UNC is still extremely favorable for baylor
Duke won't share the same fate, puff is meh, saying stronger than any team out there is a massive stretch, it is not the most successful program in the last 50 years by literally any metric, anddddd theyre most likely gonna get outted next round.

Very impressive. The Tar Heels are the strangest team I've ever seen, it always seems to be feast or famine for them.
Kentucky got upset by St. Peters tonight. If we can beat Baylor, then we have a chance to make it to the final four. We have to play Baylor like we played against Marquette, and we have a shot.

Where has this team been all year? UNC has been such a headache to watch this year because of the amount of talent they have. If they have finally figured it out and put it all together. Watch out Baylor!
UNC is inconsistent. When they’re firing on all cylinders though, they can beat the best

MU has had some tough NCAA ttournament games the last decade. They get beat by an underrated South Carolina team 5 years ago that goes onto the final 4. They get beat by a JA Morant led Murray State team in a 5-12 game a number of years ago. And here they had to face another way under-ranked opponent in UNC.

The key for NC is to continue outrebounding opponents and Baylor is not a big team esp with their big man's injury. I think the Manek and Bacot will abuse the paint and score many points. They are both scorers.

Even Though Marquette got thier butts kicked by UNC I'm still impressed with Shaka Smart picked to finish ninth in the Big East in preseason poll ends up 5 and making March Madness. As a Marquette fan here the future is bright in Shaka we trust.

North Carolina was under seated and Kentucky was over seated. Sometimes the experts don’t take in account how well teams are playing in real time. I watched the Kentucky vs St Peter’s game and I am not sure Kentucky loss to the better team anyway and not just for yesterday’s game. Reporter, Jamie Erdahl asked coach Cal, how come they can not stop Saint Peter’s offense, Coach said, they are really good team, this will a very tough game. That was only 5 minutes into the game.

they were a decent team
they got hot late according to the analysts but yeah a lot of their players transferred out and they didn't get many good recruits either. He was getting better luck at texas but we will see if this guy can bring any relevance back to marquette

They beat Nova twice and Providence once (nearly twice) and beat Illinois.
If there was ever one game to get a coach fired it would be one like this one. This Marquette team has humiliated the brand and made Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler shake their heads in dismay. WASTE OF A SEASON ALL BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT ANY SENSE OF CONSITENCY.
