These tutorials were a game changer for me. I used to be so dead set on hitting the ball straight and could never get it dialed in. once i just accepted my natural fade it took many many strokes off my game!

"Irons are a precision club. They're not a power club." Brilliant! One little nugget like that can change one's entire approach to a facet of the game. Headed to the range with this in mind (and all the drills, obviously).
This is probably one of the most helpful videos that I have watched. I just started golfing and this makes things simple and easy to understand. Cheers mate!
Back to back great vids. I physically can't play due to childhood arthritis (every single joint, jaw to toes) I manage I little chip in the garden when I'm well enough. But love watching your content and how you help players, keep this level up pal.
Amazing video Pete. I often struggle to take in information from a video, but this really highlighted some of my struggling areas in a way that i believe i'll remember the routine on course. From as simple as setting up to the ball, to bringing the clubface up in-line with the spine. Thank you!
I like how you teach feel more than just different technical aspects because I think that’s very important in a golf swing. I’ve been struggling lately with a “push” to the right I.e. I’ve been firing my hips before my hands and arms causing my right foot to be up at point of impact. For me before this this wasn’t happening, so I think it’s because I’ve been thinking so much about technical tips and kind of fell away from the feel aspect. So thanks
As a true beginner this has given me some food for thought. I had a lesson last week which I really enjoyed but due to the latest set of restrictions I am not able to go out and practise. Great tips there Peter and I hope it won't be long before I get out onto the course in the future
This is by far the best video you have done. I love all the others but this lesson/drill video has been invaluable. I’d love to spend and hour with you to point out a few errors. 12 handicap by have been as low as 4 when I was 17. Work and Family life etc....
Thanks Peter, that was really useful, you are a great teacher, much appreciated. As Hogan said the answer is in the dirt, you have to go and dig it out.
I believe this video is probably the best or one of the best you have done. Watching it I have picked up so many good tips and info. Will probably return time and time to this video for its content. Just need to get on the course and put it to the test.
I took one thing from this and my ball striking was unreal!!! Point the sternum to the club on the back swing. First time I tried it I flushed my iron, done it again, pure and again and again and again!
Pete - that was a fantastic lesson - I have been on the toptracer, got my distances and now try and hit each club 100% max - slow it down and concentrate on strike is my new focus
Great video tough crowd though. Best tips for me 1. Shallowing out the club 2. Not cupping my wrist at the top of the backswing. 3. Phil's hinge and hold for chipping
Great video. I have only started playing about 2 months ago. Your videos have made me a competent player with the boys I play with. Even at times besting them on some holes. Thank you!
Great video and I really think humor really helps in teaching people how to play better. I would love for you to give me lessons, the only problem is I live in the States. I believe it would cost a fortune. Great job Pete!!
Thanks for the great video Peter! Something to keep in mind: while your individual audio is great, when someone from the audience answers your question and you don't repeat their answer we have a hard time hearing it on the video. Thanks again!
Just a fantastic video! 👌 the sternum tipp was great! Not just for the low ones but for all my iron shots! Please do more of this, maybe a shortgame/putting masterclass... 🙏🤜🤛
Two schools of thought concerning ball position.Jack Nicklaus had the same position for ALL clubs whereas many other top players advocate playing from middle of your stance for short irons and moving the ball forward a bit as the club gets longer.Worked ok for Jack.
Loving that you are not slipping into club testing content. It doesnt help. Love the course management tips and how to hit the ball better. Please no club reviews other than Golf Bidder challenge
He pretty much can't given he has signed a club deal with Taylormade. So, even if he wanted to, people would assume he is being deceitful about how good certain clubs are because of brand affiliation. Leave the Club reviews to my man Ricky Sheils lol
@@claytonreid996 I think you would be delusional to think that Rick Shiels doesn't receive something under the table by some manufacturers to give glowing reviews of their products.
Very enjoyable and informative, I did (on your advice) go to my pro and get my distances and gapping done and it was a great lesson.. Keep up the good work.
Pete, great video really showing how great of a coach you are. Wish you were in the states so I could take some lessons. Definitely will put these drills into practice though
An answer to the question of the man at around 19 minutes in. I was taught by a high school golf coach that if you are in that position, take your hybrid driver and use it as a chipping wedge. Don’t swing all the way through but punch it. It works I swear it. I’ve gotten under and through some really rough spots by controlling a low loft shot this way. Also choke up on the club a lot.
I've lost a little interest lately due to my iron play, this has given me some good tips and tells me that I'm definitely over swinging, a more controlled 7 iron is better than a forced 8. Cheers Pete 👍
Great video Peter, I enjoyed everything you had to say, I'm playing in a tournament next week and I'm definitely taking a lot out of this video. Feeling very confident.
Peter can you discuss the pre shot drill you do where you swing the club with the toe up about a foot off the ground between 8-4 so to speak on the clock face. I don't know why you do it but I try to replicate it because it appears it improves your turf interaction unless I'm mistaken. It's really improved my striking and I'd like to know the reason behind it.
Sorry Peter I had trouble acoustically understanding some things you said at the towel station. I get the idea is not to hit and move the towel, right? How much should one place the ball in front of the towel, say with a long / middle / short iron? Always the same? Surely it's somewhat individual, but perhaps you have starting point? Maybe a touch further away with the long iron? Also I did not catch what you meant with the "pad" (?) in front of the ball drill? You shove e.g. a tee fully into the ground and then try to do what? The tee should come out when the ball is properly hitten down onto? Many thanks if someone could straighten me out on these!

people we need in life are people like you
Pete, love seeing your personality translate to your teaching method. It was great to see your banter with your students.
Peter. I love you. That one point about body and arms being connected completely transformed my game!!!
"Irons are a precision club. They're not a power club." Brilliant! One little nugget like that can change one's entire approach to a facet of the game. Headed to the range with this in mind (and all the drills, obviously).
I totally agree
This is probably one of the most helpful videos that I have watched. I just started golfing and this makes things simple and easy to understand. Cheers mate!
so down, relax. you're doing great Peter! Have fun with them. Loads of good stuff in this video. thank you for that.
Thanks pete. As a newer golfer there are many great takeaways in this lesson. You are the man Peter.

Masterclass of filming by Craig Salter again!!! Awesome stuff boys!

Great video clinic I planned to look back on constantly. Thanks for all the great content Peter!
Thanks Pete, very informative. Especially the drill "don't try to fix your shot at the course", Guilty!!
really fun to come back to the roots of what are you trying to achieve plus simple physics! love it

Pete so much love from Finland! I’ve learnt so much from your videos, thanks for making me better at my new hobby!

What a great video Peter. I wish that I could have been there for that. Especially with Taylormade!
Great work with that class, great tips you have shared in the past, and some new ones. Great job!
Great video. I have only started playing about 2 months ago. Your videos have made me a competent player with the boys I play with. Even at times besting them on some holes. Thank you!
Like how you keep it a simple as possible Pete
just picked golf back up after ten years out of the game thanks for the great tips
Great video and I really think humor really helps in teaching people how to play better. I would love for you to give me lessons, the only problem is I live in the States. I believe it would cost a fortune. Great job Pete!!
Something that have helped me a lot is your book. Did exercizes all winter and lowered my hcp from 23 to 18,9 atm. aiming for 15 before winter ! :D
Great video Pete, really finding your lessons & advice very helpful & entertaining..👍😀
Feel for you mate. You had to work bloody hard with that lot. I'd of given up and gone to the pub.
Thanks for the great video Peter! Something to keep in mind: while your individual audio is great, when someone from the audience answers your question and you don't repeat their answer we have a hard time hearing it on the video. Thanks again!

Fantastic insight, and explained in simple terms. Thanks :)
Fantastic video as usual. Definitely saving this to go back and have a look many more times.
Cottonmouth? That's a lot of information. Loved it. I been needing some pointers to get some more consistency in my irons.
Very good instruction and drills.
