I don't know the exact translation, but I know that the Hungarian and Japanese lyrics are different. The Japanese lyrics are about how Death suddenly develops strange feelings for his latest target, the young Sisi. He's disturbed by the situation but he decides to send Sisi back to the world of the living (thus changing history) so that she can grow up to fall in love with him and return his love. The Japanese title is "Ai to Shi no Rondo" - "The Rondo of Love and Death."

I think the Hungarian title means "Every Path is a Maze" but I'm not 100% sure. The German version, "Kein Kohmen Ohner Gehen," means "No Coming Without Going." Its in the newest version of the musical in Vienna (the Raimond theatre one). In the first half Death tries to explain/justify why he exists, and in the second half he says he wants to be loved. There's a German version where Elisabeth sings it with him, but I don't know what she's saying.
