Stereogram 2 - David William Brubeck

This is the sixth of a series of Classical low brass solo rep videos that I will be releasing throughout 2019-2020. We are right in the middle of the 2020 stay home order, so I will be working up mostly unaccompanied music such as this one. This second Stereogram is dedicated to Juan Tizol who was a valve trombonist with Duke Ellington and most well-known for his composition Caravan. As I was considering the approach to this piece I decided on a slide trombone approach that emphasizes his fast vibrato in sections.
