xiansheng is actually not zhongli’s last name but a honorific similar to sensei in japanese meaning teacher, though if i’m wrong correct me since i don’t even speak chinese or anything like that i just have heard it in chinese anime.
yeah it’s closer to sir/mister, teacher is laoshi (老师） . i get where the confusion is from though; xiansheng and sensei are written the same way （先生）, but they don’t mean the same thing across languages.

Xiansheng in how Childe calls ZhongLi is more of an honorific. It means sir or mister. Same way that Hutao calls him "Mister Zhongli" (if I'm not mistaken), she would call him Zhongli xiansheng in Chinese. Since this is originally in Chinese but translated into English, they brought it over too. It's like Japanese dating sims still using "-san" or "-chan" even in English translations.

Omg I just need a dating sim with xiao kazuha and gorou and razor they’re my favorites I’m not far into the genshin story at all like just started playing but I love those four so much even though I know nothing about them except for the trailers they’re in! I would love to be able to interact with the characters!

Someone needs to write a self insert y/n type wattpad fanfic but their parents sell them to like...the Fatui, or Rex Lapis instead of One Direction. Honestly I just want them to put in all the wattpad tropes but make in Genshin. Like "His glittering orbs sparkled like Cor Lapis" or something.

Not even _VENTI_ and he is most definitely of age despite his physical appearance and you can't even use his mental age as an excuse like you can with Lumine/Aether and yet people still argue that he's a minor just because of his physical appearance. There's really no pleasing them anyway.
