    Nice, but this model work only for gemoetrical representation or for to do renders, because the columns are not in the column category, these geometries are beams and when someone want to separate the model for categories, these "columns" not appear like columns, and this is really important for the quantify schedules, the title of the video shuold be: how to model a beam that looks like a column, because you did not solve my doubt about how to model slanted COLUMN.

    Hi, when i click the mass lines for the placement of the beams, the beams are not visible, have i missed a setting? if i click again Revit says there is a beam already there...

    THE BEAMS won't FOLLOW THE LINES CREATED WITH THE MASS, ALWAYS ON THE HORIZONTAL

      3D snapping must be turned on .then it works

    Is people really use revit for something like this? After releasing the rhino inside revit you don't need to do that in revit. It only takes 2-3 minute to create and insert in rhino. Learn rhino inside revit

    • @AussieBIMGuru
      @AussieBIMGuru 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Whilst rhino inside revit is useful (and I use it often myself), baking unintelligent geometry into revit from rhino is the worst use for it. You would always be better off with a solution that is natively editable in revit for a BIM team ultimately unless the project is design/competition phase where BIM is irrelevant.
