- These are some parody figures of Homer Simpson as characters from Jabba's palace. I bought them from the eBay seller below, although I have nothing to do with them and can't really vouch for them.

I know you have been getting into the 3D printing and there is some great stuff happening, but for now, it just cant beat resin figures and moldmaking. I know im oversimplifying the process of 3D printing, but just sitting there and waiting for the thing to print will never be as fun as pouring the resin and casting your own item. Even though the final product still requires cleaning up and the bubbles and trapped air and all that stuff associated with resin, its much better than having those lines all over the figure when you 3D print.
etheangel2220 I would probably agree with that. I've never really done much casting of models, but as someone who assembles and paints them I can tell you that 3D printing is nowhere near traditional methods when it comes to quality or speed. It is uniquely flexible though and allows you to download models from people around the world. I expect it to just get better as time goes on.
Mighty Jabba's Collection Im sure it will get there (it probably already has on a commercial level) and even surpass it. I would like to try 3d printing someday. Maybe when they sell basic machines at walmart.
I found some Jabba merchandise you may or may not know about. Its Jabba with slave Leia socks they're from the Star Wars Stance sock line and the retailer that sells them is Tilly's.

I totally should do that, and did originally plan to. I think the fact that they came out with so many related sets in the Galactic Heroes line was what made me put it off.

You don't know expensive shipping until you try buying stuff from the US as a Canadian on ebay :'(
I wanted a loose gamorrean guard from the VC. The listed price was $23 US, $16 shipping and $10 import duty. Add to that the 30% price increase due to the conversion of our dollar. The only way to get stuff for a reasonable price is for the seller to send it unregistered letter mail and write a lower value on the deceleration.
The body for Jabba is a Galactic Heroes Jabba with the head taken off.
Well, I don't think so, considering it's much larger and has totally different sculpting marks.
