At age 53, never even looked at a Bible. 2020 as everything crazy unfolded in our country, something inside me said something is wrong. We are having a spiritual warfare, wrong was right and right was wrong ( little did I know that was in the Bible) One night in bed, I asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness of everything I ever did. As I was repenting, I felt the Holy Spirit go up my legs, when Holy Spirit reached the top of me, I couldn’t stop crying. It was a feeling of love, forgiveness, warmth, and energy. I will never forget that experience. From that day I was a newborn Christian, eight months later I got baptized to seal the deal. Today, I read my Bible all the time. I’m hooked , I can also understand it thanks to Pastor Jack. Each day my relationship with grows. I get emotional when I read , see, or talk about Jesus Christ on the cross. I’m so grateful he chose me. At first I thought that I chose Jesus, but after reading the Bible, it says that God chooses us, that made me feel even more special. Amen

When your kids & family see you living for our Lord, you will be a wonderful example of what God does for your life. Ask if any of them want to go with you to church, a Bible study or a function at your church. Just casually ask without trying to force. They will see the joy in you & your love for God and I pray in their hearts that it will make them also want to be like you in Christ. Continue to pray & ask God to help your family to come to Jesus. Many times I've tried to live a life for Jesus, something always comes along and turns my attention from Him. I've had so many losses of children. Twins, when I was 19, I had two daughters, one I still have then I lost another little boy I lost at 6 months. You don't have enough time to listen to everything has happened to me. Martha, Prophecy is a major part of the Holy Bible. If your "church" doesn't preach/teach it, then know they are not telling you what they should be. Find a Bible teaching church - if the people walking from the parking lot to the sanctuary are not carrying their Bible, don't stop at that church. I thank God for the ministry of my late Pastor, Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. He taught verse by verse cover to cover. Even colleges teach courses from textbooks beginning from page one through the last page. Is not the Word of God more important than man's textbooks? God is my Heavenly Father and I consider my Bible a love letter from Him and reading it gives me peace and comfort. I pray you may find a Bible- teaching church. Jesus commanded that we know the signs of the times and that is why the study of prophecy is very important.
You're so right! I'm supernaturally happy and joyful right now during all this "time" of social separation! I can see stress and concerns and fear on the faces of so many others but I feel so calm and firm in my faith!. I live in Indiana now but wish I could be an active member of Calvary chapel chino hills ( I am a member of Longhollow Baptist in Tn, and served in as many places as I could ) but broke my back and forced to move here.. Actuality is God (looking back on the past) he has always been there. I truly believe that cancer was allowed to happen to wake me up again. It worked. I am watching and I am alone in my Moms house. My Mom is in a senior facility and I came up from AZ to WA to spend time with her. She has only been there for a Month and now her family cannot visit her because of the virus. She is heavy on my heart. She is 96 and I’d not all there so she forgets about the virus and she forgets that is the reason we cannot visit right now. Please pray for my Moms peace of mind, it would be so appreciated. Thanks Pastor Jack for being so faithful in these "perilous times." I became born again back in 1969 from the "Jesus Movement" days. From a lost drug-induced life to the joy of knowing the truth and Bible and always the Lord kept me even in many times I failed through these years. In those days we all met in houses and they had bible study every night. It was a youth ministry called "Shiloh" and though I never joined it was a very spirit filled time and still many from that "church" are still serving our Lord. Praying for you everyday.

I love listening/watching you from Billings Montana. One thing would be nice, because I often listen to the videos. I am so glad Jack is responsible for me getting more spiritual food daily in my life. I couldn’t read the Bible for a few years and he has helped me reach help from homosexuality! I am a 71 year old woman God has given me poems and heartfelt lessons in my life. Life took me away I fell away but not my love. Three years ago God shook me on my death bed (in my opinion) and told me to share the work he had done in me 40 years ago that is what this channel is that work and it took me about a year to complete it Since then He has given me a few new poems/songs Mornings song today and Sing the forgotten poem has been noted (but not remembered) Poem for the very married. I try to live looking toward what is coming with JOY and let that Joy shine from my eyes can they see the Christ I feel I think some do yes be joyful the salt the light My Faith is steadfast I cling to the Holy Spirit and watch carefully to be humble I would go with Christ tonight is my belief though I am not all grown up yet. Pastor Jack, I've been listening to you for a while now, and I did pray that prayer with you! I'm in a nursing facility, I'm 77yrs. old. Many times I've tried to live a life for Jesus, something always comes along and turns my attention from Him. I've had so many losses of children. Twins, when I was 19, I had two daughters, one I still have then I lost another little boy I lost at 6 months. You don't have enough time to listen to everything has happened to me. I love your preaching.

Martha, Prophecy is a major part of the Holy Bible. If your "church" doesn't preach/teach it, then know they are not telling you what they should be. Find a Bible teaching church - if the people walking from the parking lot to the sanctuary are not carrying their Bible, don't stop at that church. I thank God for the ministry of my late Pastor, Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. He taught verse by verse cover to cover. Even colleges teach courses from textbooks beginning from page one through the last page. Is not the Word of God more important than man's textbooks? God is my Heavenly Father and I consider my Bible a love letter from Him and reading it gives me peace and comfort. I pray you may find a Bible- teaching church. Jesus commanded that we know the signs of the times and that is why the study of prophecy is very important.

I live in Indiana now but wish I could be an active member of Calvary chapel chino hills ( I am a member of Longhollow Baptist in Tn, and served in as many places as I could ) but broke my back and forced to move here.. I MISS SERVING! That makes Church part of your Life! There are NO churches here addressing End times.. I would be lost if Not for Pastor Jack!! Actuality is God (looking back on the past) he has always been there. I truly believe that cancer was allowed to happen to wake me up again. It worked. I am watching and I am alone in my Moms house. My Mom is in a senior facility and I came up from AZ to WA to spend time with her. She has only been there for a Month and now her family cannot visit her because of the virus. She is heavy on my heart. She is 96 and I’d not all there so she forgets about the virus and she forgets that is the reason we cannot visit right now. Please pray for my Moms peace of mind, it would be so appreciated. Hi Annemarie , my mom is also in an assisted living facility in Spokane, WA. She has severe dementia and does not understand being isolated in her room with no visitors. I feel helpless...BUT GOD is able to do all things. She is not saved but I pray that the Holy Spirt can find that place in her heart where He can reside.

If you read the Revelation - and think of those 2+ Billion people that will perish in the first curses... you have to fill for those people that are stiff necked, like the Israelite's of old... I became born again back in 1969 from the "Jesus Movement" days.
From a lost drug-induced life to the joy of knowing the truth and Bible and always the Lord kept me even in many times I failed through these years.
In those days we all met in houses and they had bible study every night.
It was a youth ministry called "Shiloh" and though I never joined it was a very spirit filled time and still many from that "church" are still serving our Lord.

I love listening/watching you from Billings Montana. One thing would be nice, because I often listen to the videos. Maybe you could mic one person for the video sound when you have Bible readings with your congregation. When it is their turn to read scripture, it is sort of jumbled when they take their turn, and if I am not watching the video I miss every other scripture. I am so glad Jack is responsible for me getting more spiritual food daily in my life. I couldn’t read the Bible for a few years and he has helped me reach help from homosexuality! I no longer feel helpless in this area of my life. It has lost its hold on me when I renounced homosexuality. Just doing so has had its healing and his spiritual food has kept me strong. I am a 71 year old woman God has given me poems and heartfelt lessons in my life. Life took me away I fell away but not my love. Three years ago God shook me on my death bed (in my opinion) and told me to share the work he had done in me 40 years ago that is what this channel is that work and it took me about a year to complete it Since then He has given me a few new poems/songs Mornings song today and Sing the forgotten poem has been noted (but not remembered) Poem for the very married. I try to live looking toward what is coming with JOY and let that Joy shine from my eyes can they see the Christ I feel I think some do yes be joyful the salt the light My Faith is steadfast I cling to the Holy Spirit and watch carefully to be humble I would go with Christ tonight is my belief though I am not all grown up yet.
