I've already replaced the entire regulator on MIL '16 Tucson DS front, now the DS rear I ordered the gear. Glad to see it doesn't look as hard as some of the others (or glad you figured out an easier method!). I really thought Hyundai had improved their quality, but clearly, that is NOT the case!
I went to your link / webpage and the spools you have listed say the fit Sonata, Elantra, Optima Regulator Gears (4). will they also fit a 2016 tucson? I need all 4 asap.
They are slightly different. They do not have the indent on the back of the wheel. And they can be wrapped in either direction. But they work great. We've installed over 200 of these.
I’m trying to replace the gear on a tucson but as I was taking it out, it unraveled and I think the wire popped off one of the inner rollers on inside. So I guess I have to remove the regulator panel to reattach?
@@PowerUpAuto thanks. I kinda figured that but was hoping I didn’t have too. Your videos are very informative and helpful. Thank you for making good videos
@@PowerUpAuto I just got the gear on. It took me 3 hours. I didn’t have to remove the regulator completely. I left the door latch on. I'm in need of a 2019 hyundai santa fe passenger rear window gear. I didn't see this type listed on your site. Do you have any?
Santa Fe is the same gear. Go ahead and order. Shipping Monday. Thanks, Scott
Excellent video !
Thank you for posting this Sir. Can you tell me.. is it necessary to add grease / lubrication to the new drum / motor or cables?

Hello from Washington. What is the reason for the suction cup on the window? My window is stuck all the way up.
Once you loosen the clips the glass will fall down.
Hello! Do you have any videos of you doing the gear replacement for the front left window of a 2016 Kia Optima (Or a similar enough vehicle)?

‘09 Kia Optima here, the window is getting jacked crooked in the slot, any videos that’ll show me what to do?
Most likely the glass clip broke off the regulator. Probably changing the window regulator
Is there anything different that you have to do if the window is stuck all the way down?
Once you remove the window motor should be easy to push the window 1/2 way up to replace the gear
Excellent video, do you hv the link to buy the gears? I saw on eBay for $24 but don't want to order the wrong ones. Many thanks.

If they don't work the first try just reverse it. Can't tell unless you have the originalk gear still in place.
one more question how come the spool is so tight on yours and mine hangs all the way down the past the bottom of the door
