Hello, Speaking from experience, you can but I won't recommend it as the mount can become loose when you go for a long trip due to lot of movement of the shocks specially in the mountains. It's better to install it on the crash guard. Also the problem with fitting it in the fork is that there is no screw that would fit in perfectly and the mechanic will have to use some jugaad which again will cause you problems.
Yes sir you are right HJG is also good. I know other companies are also there. But mujhe yahi achhi lagi isliye yahi li. But yeah no doubt HJG lights are also good and at good price.

Bro hjg lights are much better and cheaper than this maddog lights. You should have try hjg lights before installing this maddog.
