Dude Su-57 is even worse than J-20 😂 Just a single look at the blunt spherical IRST on its nose tells you how bad it is in reality (Leaving aside the critical absence of S-shaped Air Intakes and blunt DIRCM turrets scattered all over it's body). Russian designers themselves claim its RCS to be 0.1-1m² which is the same as a clean Super Hornet and 1000-10,000x bigger than an F-35.
@@Shubhabratabanerjee Even Russian AF does not want to spend its fund on acquiring that aircraft. Rather they want to sell it to India and invest their money into devleoping something that is actually a step above the Su-30. Su-30MKI may in fact be better than Su-57 given the localized production of the supply chain in India achieved at great expense and the many weapons that have been integrated on the craft.

Just because Russia claims that the Su-57 is a "5ᵗʰ-generation" fighter jet, it doesn't become one. The IAF on evaluation found that it was shoddily made, and 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 meet stringent low-observability requirements. It was rejected in 2018. Russian aircraft has been found to be high maintenance. After sales support of OEMs has always been poor and supply of spares, erratic. Furthermore, buying the Su-57 will eat into funds available for the AMCA.
Only other available 5 gen fighter is F-35, which is extremely costly besides severe backstabbing chances by USA; so su 57 much better options than any other fighters and specially very cost effective for bulk purchases & make in india options under licensing

As far as I've seen we've never seen it flying with two of the AL-51 engines, only one and one of the old AL-41 as a failsafe, so it's still not really clear the new engine is ready outside of sketchy mouthpieces. I've also seen some of the defense blogs referencing a Bloomberg report saying this is back on, but no reference in the actually Bloomberg report?
After the INS Vikramaditya swindle, the chances of joint FGFA development is as good as nil. And, the geo-political situation being what it is, India could find itself in a bigger predicament than in the Admiral Gorshkov/INS Vikramaditya deal.
Why not a version of AMCA_R(ussia) with AL31FP engine used in SU30MKI? India could have an AMCA in 5 years (although not fully stealth). This should be persued in parallel with AMCA1(F414). India won't get the supply of Su57 felon before 2030, as its low production rate indicates problems or maturity.

Russia not producing Su-57 in mass may be because Russian Air Force already have good Aircrafts in their inventory. Mass producing another aircraft will add cost for maintenance. I guess they are keeping minimum numbers and keep on updating so that they have technical edge. Once you produce in mass and after few years if you have more advanced aircraft then what will you do to old aircraft which is still very good as per world standard?

India must not procure any of these fighters like F-35, SU-57 or any other foreign made fighter..70% of Pain for development is already done by India by developing their own Tejas fighter MK1A and we are on right track to produce in good numbers,... Now MK2 which will be almost similar to Rafale .. development/Rollout of this fighter must be also as per the timelines and we must not delay this fighter Jet..this also needs to produced in good numbers. Around 200 to 250nos Now main pain area is the Kaveri Engine which we need with a 90Kn thrust on top priority...this issue needs to be sorted out and after testing produce this engine ...to be used for Tejas MK1 and then Tejas MK2...going forward implement good practices of localisation of GE414 or Safran M88 engine into the engine development for AMCA...this is the only path which India needs to follow....this is not going to be easy but we have to achieve this... Thankyou Jai-Bharat Jai-hind
bro, I agree with Indegenisation. But Amca is still atleast 10 years away and even Pakisthan is going to have Stealth jets before that. We SHOULD concentrate on AMCA, agreed. But still, 1 stealth fighter is not going to be enough. Also Russia has promised us a lot of Tech transfer. France is still not agreeing with providing tech of Rafales.... Even after 36 jets we bought.
SU 57 made in India ❤ India needs to build ecosystem overall for fighter jets from R&D to simulators without that it's simply a dream to come up with its own 5th gen fighters
The IAF knows what the Su-57E brings to the table and if it was that good, it would not have pulled out of the FGFA plan, after investing USD 250 million into the program as a partner. It makes no sense whatsoever to go in for it now, when AMCA is a funded program. Also, if Su-57E is acquired, it'll be the end of the line for the MRFA and with it the Rafale fleet may well end up being stunted at 36 numbers. The IAF would much rather just somehow get Rafales instead.
SU-57 ka sabse bada drawback hai uska straight air intake jo ki modern IRST aur IR missiles ko chakma nahi de payega! AMCA jaldi banao yahi sahi solution hai! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
When there are news reports that French dassault are not willing even for partial technology transfet which is an 4.5 generation aircraft, if Russia offers su-57 with technology transfer ( even if it happens to be partial) iaf should seriously look into the prospects of an 5th generation su-57 with partial tot rather than 4.5 generation rafales with NO TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER.
But like the navy going for rafale aircraft to address the gap till TEDBF . In the same way the airforce can look for gap up by su 57 or su72 checkmate till AMCA is ready They can induct 3 to 4 Squadrons. And same thing is reported in the parliamentary committee report
Best way to speed up AMCA is to make a lot of prototypes.... Parallel development and certification. If it's coming in 2030+... The chances are we are buying something....
I have questions as a viewer. We have a project with Russia called PAKFA T50 . so my question is 1. Do we have some of the technology transfer with mentioned project ? 2. If we have already done the ground work for 5th gen stealth fighter with help of that project so can it be a joint ventures project like brahmos?
I think the Indian airforce should consider the 5th gen fighter in the MMRF deal as we already have the technology of 4th gen fighters so we should acquire 5th gen jets to strengthen our airforce and support AMCA
Only 32 Su-57s are reported to have been built to date: 10 test and 22 serial production aircraft. And, in service, they have seen limited action - used as a launching platform for ALCMs from standoff distances. Is a "5ᵗʰ-generation" fighter jet needed for this?? 🤔 😂😂😂 Couldn't this have been done from a Su-35?? 🤔 When then Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa during a goodwill visit to Russia in July 2019, when asked about IAF purchasing the Su-57, put it succinctly: 𝙄𝘼𝙁 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪-𝟱𝟳 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙩 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮.
Russia might also know that their Su-35 and MiG-35 may not be selected in the MMRCA. Then why are they not offering the Su-57 in the MMRCA? I think for India, it would be easier if they want fifth-generation jets to acquire them through the MMRCA instead of separate smaller purchases.
buying SU-75 will be a wise choice I guess since we can also have a closer look on some of the niche technology which can be used in our AMCA program. Moreover we also need 5TH gen aircraft as soon as possible. Regardless of its nature. Moreover I would prefer Russian fighters against American since it does not comes with extensive strings attached. which is opposite to that of American weapons
@@mohokdas7629 you should know those are full scale mockups and not actual aircrafts. Wikipedia pe mil jati hai ye information. Su57 & su75 are 2 different aircrafts
Depending on transformin situation, practical demand and reality. One thing is clear that we need stong domestic industry base and RD keeping pace with advancement of technology and cutting edge technology in particular, moreover promptly and commercialise it successfully for military and civilian use both.
Even the engines won't be decided till 2029. Prototype maybe developed in 2036. And production won't even start before 2040. Edit - Till then china will be ready with 6th gen aircrafts.
Its better we build an ecosystem for AMCA even if it takes time. Even though SU 57 is a good jet, it still has dubious stealth characteristics. Knowing Russia's current state of aircraft R&D, I wouldn't be surprised if SU 57 is just a glorified 4.5 gen jet.
We can not afford another 5th generation program, why? 1.high purchasing cost, 2.high maintainance cost, currently IAF have 7 different combat aircrafts, adding one more type is adding more chaos in maintainance. 3. DELIVERY OF FOREIGN 5th gen. FIGHTER WILL START AFTER 10YEAR OF ORDER. F35 8/10YRS WAITING(will not get it because of S400), SU57/75 10+ YEARS WAITING and russian war 3.AMCA WILL BE SIDELINED.
Any update on the MiG 41 concept by the Russians ? Surely they will need partners for that project to succeed. Any chance of India being involved/invested with them in a similar program as was the case with the Su 30 project in mid 90s. It will be 6thgen revolutionary development and hence not compromising the AMCA program in anyway...
When AMCA work is in full swing, where is the need to consider SU 57 or any other aircraft? In fact, MRFA tender should also be cancelled and IAF acquires additional Rafales and finish it off.
Defense lobbyists se bachna chahiye, isse achha to bhale hi iska engine lelo (agar ge414 mil nahi Raha he to) aur AMCA ko finance karke jaldi banana chahiye. Bahut ho gaya foreign buying bhari forex ka bhi nuksan, deshi udyog bhi develop nahi ho pana

It is better that India should acquire 57 More rafale and 57 Su 57 instead of unending MRFA to balance out both 4.5++ gen aircraft and 5th gen to counter the two adversaries till AMCA comes out in 2032-34

Only other available 5 gen fighter is F-35, which is extremely costly besides severe backstabbing chances by USA; so su 57 much better options than any other fighters and specially very cost effective for bulk purchases & make in india options under licensing

great understanding of geopolitics
As far as I've seen we've never seen it flying with two of the AL-51 engines, only one and one of the old AL-41 as a failsafe, so it's still not really clear the new engine is ready outside of sketchy mouthpieces. I've also seen some of the defense blogs referencing a Bloomberg report saying this is back on, but no reference in the actually Bloomberg report?
Bro al51 engine passed trials in November only and estimated to be fitted on su57 in next batch which is new variant called su57-m
This is the reality of India lol. No matter how hard scientists work or how advanced technologies we make, in the end import is king.

Around 200 to 250nos
Now main pain area is the Kaveri Engine which we need with a 90Kn thrust on top priority...this issue needs to be sorted out and after testing produce this engine ...to be used for Tejas MK1 and then Tejas MK2...going forward implement good practices of localisation of GE414 or Safran M88 engine into the engine development for AMCA...this is the only path which India needs to follow....this is not going to be easy but we have to achieve this...

bro, I agree with Indegenisation. But Amca is still atleast 10 years away and even Pakisthan is going to have Stealth jets before that. We SHOULD concentrate on AMCA, agreed.
Ek full skill war ke liye Su-57 important

Bilkul Sahi baat👌👌👌
But like the navy going for rafale aircraft to address the gap till TEDBF .
In the same way the airforce can look for gap up by su 57 or su72 checkmate till AMCA is ready

I have questions as a viewer. We have a project with Russia called PAKFA T50 . so my question is
1. Do we have some of the technology transfer with mentioned project ?
2. If we have already done the ground work for 5th gen stealth fighter with help of that project so can it be a joint ventures project like brahmos?
Phir vi su57 consider Karna chaiye AMCA bante bante Bangladesh vi fifth generation use kar raha hoga
क्या russia से engine के उपर कोई बात हो सकती है su30 ke.
Su 57+ Su 75 = real power
I think checkmate would be a better option 🤔 ?
When then Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal B.S.
Even prototype development of su75 have not started.

Our airforce lacks strength first than moderns fighters. Our ground army lacks modern/light tanks, artillery, anti tanks, combat helicopter’s weapons, infantry rifle etc. Our space power lacks proper navigation/positioning satellites beyond our Land. No drones. Common man lacks electricity, water, education, health facilities and still paying gst tax for everything, medicines to eatables on daily basis without any return facility. We have high tax rate for vehicles. Accept it we are in competition with Porkis but we are Vishwaguru with no skill in management.
