It's crazy how things have changed since the time of Modi. India hate peaked at 2015 but then gradually declined. Today, many Nepalis are happy with re Hinduization of India. However, only Pahadis and Madhesis accept indians. Some mongolians are race supermacist and they have this idea that they are superior to South Asian race.
As a Nepalese I don't have any sort of resentment for the Indians. But the 2015 blockade did made life a living hell for many of us on cold winter months. 1. Never did any king of Nepal want to make Nepal a part of India. Instead when Indira Gandhi proposed to do so, King Mahendra declined the offer by saying that India should be a part of Nepal instead.
2. During the Maoist movement, India did supply arms to the Maoists.
3. The statement that "Hill people built an anti-India narrative" is baseless. That's your own opinion which you are presenting as a fact.
4. The constitution of Nepal was not against the Madhesi population. Had it been so, Madhesis would have opposed it. But it was only India who opposed it. Quoting the corrupt Indian media for this fact to present your own opinion is cowardly.

Whenever I remember Blockade, I remember Nepalese people suffering so badly, some people losing life because they couldn't get medicines, couldn't travel to hospital. I lost my cousin sister because of that. I live near the border so I know what was happening there at that time.

No matter how the severe the situation is no neighboring country has the right to threaten the other country demanding a change in our constitutes. Sure if it was a suggestion then that would be alright but to cut off the supplies like petrol and gas is beyond outrageous. I tell you, that was ONE dumb move by the politicians of India especially after the earthquake situation.
So sorry to hear that sister 😢 I agree, the blockade by India was a total disgraceful hegemonic step undertaken, and it's not even the first time that India has done so. We really need an alternative route, like the Belt and Road Initiative, to break free from India's monopoly and ensure our independence.
As said in the video, there is no evidence that India blockades Nepal fuel. Also, there were several rescue teams/missions done by India which saved a lot of lives.
Main reason was 2015 Blockage.😠 We were weak By Economically, Emotionally we were in dark phase and india blocked borders. Whole Nepal will not forget that😢

As a Nepalese Indian, I have extended families in Nepal whom I visit whenever I am there. It never felt like I was out of India because we share the same culture and the same values. I even talk Nepalese so it literally never felt like I left home. I would want to see both of our countries prosper.

1) the year 2001 when King Birendra was massacred by RAW.
2) the year 2015 economic blockade by India which made Nepali PM to ask China to send medicine and petroleum to Nepal.

Why do we hate India, not Indians ?
I was in love with cricket when i was a child. CKS was my fav IPL team and India was my fav team and loved Indian team in 2011. I almost felt like my country was winning. I had that level of love towards India but now I don't. I was naive to think that India and Nepal have relations like brothers while its like an abusive couple relationship in reality.
After learning all the past incidents, agreements and interference of India that occurred in Nepal, now I don’t like India.
These are the following reasons:
1. India bullying Nepal on the border due to lack of Strong Military and politicians attention on terai regions.
2. India interfering at every major Nepal decision and politics.
3. Death of the late king Birendra, or say assassination of his family was lead by CIA and RAW because he wasn’t a favorable person for India.
3. 2015 blocked after earthquake
4. Creating border dispute on Lipulekh and Kalapani even though it belongs to Nepal, just because it is a strategic point and leads to mansarovar.
6. And more I hate those politicians that sign treaties like Kali and Koshi river from Nepal side that favored India only, killed the only few industries that were here in Nepal to get commission from Indian companies.
7. Indian media is just worst, its like the Iceing on the top.
If you ask an avg. Nepali to tell them about their fav singers: Atif and Arjit comes on top, fav cricketer: sachin, dhoni and virat comes on top, fav god: shiva, krishna, hanuman and ram comes on top, we love south movies just as much as you guys. We have a lot more in common but the hate is not towards Indians but on government.

The blockade was so hard for us. Even though I was a child, I still remember how hard it was for us and my family to meet our daily needs. Truly, one of the darkest moments of our time and would never want to face the same situation ever again in my life.

Nepalese people hate India and Indians, main reson behind that is racism. Nepalis never liked Indians because of indian's darker skin color compared to mountain Nepalis. No matter how much we Indians talk about India-Nepal historical relations, we have never had a good relationship with the mountain Nepalis. We had cultural ties with Madhesi. Note that Nepalis also hate their own native Madhesi for the same reason(dark skin color).
Nepalese disliked black Indians so much that Kingdom of Nepal and Gorkhas served as the British's most loyal dogs. Nepalis suppressed many Indian movements on behalf of the British government in India, killing many Indians.

I am an Indian. But after reading all the comments I realized that Nepali people are actually much better than Indians. I feel proud as an Indian but some of our behavior makes us feel guilty. I will pray to Goddess Durga that all the people of Nepal live in happiness, peace and prosperity and the people of India should also not have negative feelings about Nepal. Because of blockade I lost my friend. Because the fuel shortage was so high we needed to go on a bus that was overcrowded and people used to be full on capacity plus on the roofs but because of that our bus fell into a canal. I was on roof so I jumped as others almost hut the tree doing so but my friend who was on door got his back squeezed and he can't walk after that his life got devastated by that we used to go to morning walks but now he is in depression and he is no more the same person...

Even in terms of Gdp growth India is miles ahead of your Nepal. And of course Nepal is no Sikkim, Goa or Ladakh. All these places are way more developed than Nepal. If India annexes Nepal it will only further reduce it's own gdp per capita. Plus taxpayers from Goa, Sikkim, Ladakh etc.. will now have to pay extra taxes to develop your underdeveloped region. Even most of Sub-saharan African countries have a higher gdp per capita than Nepal

Well I'm from Nepal but i spent my childhood in india, Dehradun daksai, and studied their cause my father was in indian army 1/5 gr. I never faced any hatred their, Every indian People love and respected us even some Indian uncle auntie's told my mother to stay their in Dehradun dont go to nepal but my father insisted to come home. While in India always surely was polarized against Pak but when I arrived here in Nepal abruptly felt polarized against India. I am a Nepali from madheshi community . Back in 2018,i was in Kathmandu's for my coaching classes . We were roaming around the Kathmandu durbar square, there was a madheshi vendor with his women standing by his side ,a guy from a hilly community pulled her saree and went back to like nothing happened mode ,she kept staring , having seen this with my own eyes,i felt so ashamed and it bothered me so much that i couldn't even speak about it to anyone , another one is when i was in bhrikuti mandap ,there was a little indian kid probably around 8 years old ,this guy just calls him "oee dhoti bhai" laughingly. While most of the time I was in ktm was very positive although these incidents remain in my head ! The hate is so blatant that hilly people don't even acknowledge that madheshis are their own people too . Although its better now but i get to hear about how the hilly people bad-mouthed our community back in the days ,its still prevalent now .Well "dhoti" is just a common nickname . The vegetable vendors are called "bhaiya" intentionally . Well,I can go on ,what i am trying to convey is that Not only they hate indians ,they hate the madheshi community equally ! The hate may not come as profoundly as it used to but its there the divide may be blurered now but one cant simply deny the fact the hate is over ! Poor fellas !

During blockage i remember lining up 2 days for fuel . Gas were scarce you had to register your name for gas that too paying 12-15k on black market, cooking oil was scares so we used other type of oil for cooking. But the good outcome from that is people became less reliant by switching to electrical stoves and ev transportation. A sense for supporting local products over imported products has also grown amongs people.

In Nepal having Indian origin is a shameful thing and people try to hide it. Newar people, who descend from people of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal try to hide their Indian origins. Kapali, Mali, Chitrakar, Shrestha, Prajapati, Tamrakar, Vaidya, Tandon all are of BIhari/ Bengali stock. In the past they were happy with being called Bihari. But nowdays, due to Maoist revolution, they were shamed for being related to Bihar, and they were placed in Tribal quota along with the Mongolians.

Finally Someone tried to answer complex issues with some good study rather than just for views. Some here ; being a nepali, are my few points which are not included or unclear in this video:
1. We dont hate indian we hate indian politicans and political influence in our country. You have explained why is that reasons well in this video so hats off to that. Besides i also feel sad to say, there are few people who hate Indian because of misbehavior they faced in their visit india, involvement in crimes and cons, and some racist thinking ( which you can find any corner in world).
2. Two Unofficial blockage: the first one happened after the visit of PM Indira Gandhi because of some misunderstanding ( rumors that she was not allowed to enter Pashupati Nath during her visit,but its unclear and unoffial.) About second one you have explained in your video.
3. Boarder issues: Being neighbors and open boarders, means boarder issues. Somewhere we have encroached many place BSF have. Issue can be solved easily but both parties ( politicians) tries to ignore this topics for their own benefits. So in this topic we hate our politicians as we hate yours.
4. Kalapani Limpiyadhura issue: as explained in video, those areas are ours even before anglo-nepal war, and is mentioned to be our boarder even in that treaty. We used to have officials posting their, elections and voting their upto few decades ago. After India - China war, King Mahendra let indian armys to stay making camps in various places of nepal including there. Many posts were removed alongwith time but now india claims to theirs and as always our politicians are just sleeping on that until recent time. We get the point that its a military strategic tri-junction and we alone cannot control if in case of war break out between china and india( which we always will never happen) but we can defend together rather than illegal occupying. In this issue, Nepal government has tried to set meetings on various times to solve issuues but as always Indian Government is ignoring and doing their own will which further degrade sentiments. Having boarder issue is normal between neighbors, its the higher people job to sit in table, study the situation, resolve it saying you are right in this place/ point and you are doing wrong in this place. It is just treat like pakistan then its your( Indian government’s) fault to ruin the public sentiments.
5. Different treaties and agreements: Different treaties and agreements are done in past and in rescent present which is more in favours of India rather than Nepal. I know our politicians were also involved in those agreements but from the eye of common man, these things cannot be done to your so called closed friendly neighbors which includes( hydropower agreemnets which controls our river in our land causing floods on us by not opening gates just to save Bihar and UP, trade agreements where our goods are restricted and we have to accept yours,etc).
Look i am not saying that only bad things are there or things cannot be corrected. There are good things too and things can be solved if both parties tries to solve this and wants to make relations smooths by treating both nations equally being a sovereign nations rather than bulling and buying corrupt politicians. Coz you can buy politicians, you cannot buy common people. I wish all the best for your channel to grow and wish all the good fortune to all Indian People. We love you but not your politicians ( just lil more than you do 😉)

Yeah. A lot lot of people here in the comments saying they don’t hate on Indians. I have lived in Nepal for two years, they do hate on Indians. They hate our color, consider us unclean and disgusting. They generally consider India unclean and disgusting. They didn’t appreciate the fact i came to work in their country. Mostly the hate came from pahadi people. They would constantly remind me that they always supported China more and that it was way better than India. However, all shops and casinos preferred indian people for their money. I was subjected to heavy racism by the sales women in a Puma showroom near Kingstreet where all i wanted was to buy some tshirts. Colorism definitely exists in India and in Sout East Asia in general, but in Nepal it was in your face. One of the worst days in my life. To be fair, Nepalese people aren’t treated that great in India as well, especially the women. I made some good friends in Nepal, but the hate and disgust and racism was clearly present.

I am from Nepal and I find your content is totally biased. First of all Sugauli treaty was signed not because Nepal became weak but because no one is winning or losing.
