What always gets my attention is the very end when Marco returns to the stage - is Floor's reaction. Joy at how well her friend did.

The non subtitled part goes "If I sing the chorus will you sing along? yeah. Sure? YEAH! Ok let's do it then"
There's several ways of translating it, but all really the same, a Finnish speaker told me: "If I play the chorus, you will sing along? You will? OK, then we'll do it!"

Marco is technically the best metal singer I have ever heard. He can do it all while being a charismatic performer.

floor and irene (two sisters) was back up Arjen Lukasen - Ayron project - and from 1998 electric castle is one best metal album each time...(for us)
Nightwish Is just beyond talented. They have the best musicians and on top of that best female and male vocalist in metal. Floor Is great but Marco is a one of a kind artist. Expert bass player but truly amazing singer. Unfortunately the new album does not feature Floor and Marco singing together enough but Troy is featured on new album and his a fine singer too in addition to incredible musician.
I'm not too concerned as on the albums you often don't have Marcos voice anywhere near as prominent in the mix as it is live. To me his voice and Emppus live guitar work are the major things that make the live versions so much better!
@@mnewm21 No I know. Live he is just amazing and more present than any album. It is just that he was quite prevalent on 2 albums with Annette perhaps on purpose. He and Floor together live just amazing like Devil and Deep Dark Ocean and Ghost River
And he walks back to his bass-playing spot as if he didn't just tear our hearts out with his beautiful voice.
Sure there is pretty much everyone who wants to be Marcos friend lol The man is a musical superhero who just keeps on giving 👍

As a new fan of nightwish in 2020, I discover this video when Marco left the band. It's was a farewell tribute to him. Don't know how many tears I drop since then about this video .. 😪
Tarot - Tides is one of the best Marko perfomances, I don't know why it's not getting more reactions, everyone seems to make High hopes, Islander, Kiss while your.....
Because it is not Nightwish and it has no Floor in it and most requests come from the Nightwish Army.

Marko also contributed his vocal talent to the Imaginaerum intro "Taikatalvi," which segues into "Storytime" sung by Annette Olzon (successor to Tarja Turunen and predecessor to Floor Jansen).

Man, I have no idea what they're going to do without Marco now. His voice has been a constant since their earliest albums. Apparently after he left Nightwish, Tuomas called everyone together and asked if they should even bother anymore or they should just disband.
Need to check out the delain collars with Marco one of my favs is "sing to me " he also has a solo album called pyre of the black heart it's worth a listen in both english and Finnish and I recommend starting with "voice of my father" ," stones", or " star sand shadow"
