You could be right about Eddie Jackson or as a veteran he’s taking his time, enjoying his summer and waiting for the right fit.

My feeling is this was the plan two years ago… flus gets to learn how to be a hc and he took his lumps with those three late quarter loses. Poles wanted draft capital to get his qb and injected a lot of talent and depth this year. To me this is year 1 for flus in poles eyes.

I agree, Caleb gets no honeymoon. He better hit!

Dick Jauron was the Bears HC before Lovie Smith.
Velus Jones Jr.?? Maybe, maybe not.
Tevin Jenkins needs to play a complete season healthy and at his talent level. If he can then he will get a nice contract but if he misses any time then I think Poles will replace him. There's only five Pace picks left and the only ones I feel are safe are Kmet and Jaylon Johnson. Borom and Herbert will have strong competition for their jobs and of course Jenkins has to play all season. Herbert will be replaced by Roshon Johnson by mid season for RB 2.
Ngakoue relies on a superior player opposite of him and he will be a cheap option for Poles. I will feel fine with him because I think he is a 10+ sack guy playing across from Sweat. Another player I hope Poles is at least considering is Conner Williams who might accept a team friendly deal after his season ending ACL tear last year. If healthy, he would be a great starting center and his two free agent signings could be interior backups. I've said enough!
    Bear Down!!
