Every month or so, I do a general search on TH-cam to see what’s new in the ASMR world-both to check out what artists I don’t subscribe to are up to, and to discover anyone new (that’s how I initially found this channel). I just did that, and it was worthwhile as always, but I didn’t really find anything to relax to. So, what to do? Are there any videos of Treasury’s that I haven’t yet watched? Yes, surprisingly, there was this one. There are so many great artists out there. Really really talented people-some with huge audiences, many with smaller ones. A lot of great work. But this channel, with its fewer than 100 videos, is somewhat unique. It’s like a little oasis of calm. Each video is done with such care. The impetus to name the channel “treasury” is so spot on. It’s like a collection of so much great stuff. There’s almost a how-can-she-keep-it-up aspect, especially as the channel grows into heavy-subscriber territory, but there’s also a how-can-she-not? She’s so gifted and dedicated and _savvy._ She just gets it. She knows what is relaxing and what is ASMR-filled, almost to an extreme. And with that knowledge and integrity and skillset (plus her amazingly thorough and kind interaction with her viewers) there’s really no end to it (if she so chooses) and that’s fabulous… remarkable actually. In the meantime, this video has been running, and it’s making it very difficult for me to keep writing this overwrought bit of praise. It’s time to stop and pay attention to the artist at work.

I’m sure every creator can relate to having those moments where we question whether what we’re doing is good enough and whether we have what it takes to continue.
