A Astra is a Economy car, but it will still comfortably cruise at 200 km/h +. what a wonderful time we live in.
yea good way to shorten the lifespan of your engine if you are that stupid that you are cruising at 200 kmh ...

you should see the A pillars on a Zafira A
they wanted you to have a safe car. It's the compromise, later they invented stronger materials on like tesla so they don't need to be that big anymore.

My old Opel astra 1.6cdti with 136hp was really fun to drive, but had an abnormally stiff clutch pedal even after a whole flywheel,clutch,pressure plate and release bearing job. Damn. I miss it sometimes but then I think, nah.
Had one as my first car 5 years ago but with 125hp

Did 239 km/h with an AT transmission sedan 1.4L 140 hp engine on the road from Cairo to Sharm El-Sheikh... It's a fun car to drive.

Nur um 4 km/h schneller als unser Zafira Tourer mit einem 2.0 CDTI und 110 PS.
Der Motor hat schon mal sehr schön geklungen! Nur ich verstehe nicht, warum die Scheinwerfer angemacht wurden wenn man schon Tagfarhlichter hat.

I drove with the same one as yours 226km/h but according to GPS it was 207km/h. Which seems about right compared to the official top speed.

Thats true. Astra with 110hp don't go over 200km/h. Speedometers allmost always lie about 10% at high speed.
My speedo with 225/50R17 is 4-5 km/h more than a gps. Sportourer, little uphill 217 on GPS 131 ps ecoflex with factory lowered sport suspension and the rear spoiler. Max speed I didn't reach but I know that was in 5 th gear beacuse it has diferent diferential ratio and when I put in six no aceleration could happend. Perfect car, with sporty handling, very stable car with low consumption. No problems with it.

@@alessandrobellone2404 buongiorno io lo acquista nuova 7 anni fa ,adesso ho percoso 208000 km ,grossi problemi almeno la mia non ne ha avuti ,ho sostituito solo qualcosa per usura ma tutto sonmato niente di grave ,se la dovessi ricomprare lo farei tranquillamente, i consumi almeno per la guida che ho io che è un po' allegra con un pieno di gpl riesco a fare intorno i 350 - 370 km se vai tranquillo superi i 400 km ,per quanto riguarda l impianto gpl che e un landi montato di serie i soliti problemi che hanno le auto gpl ho sostituto solo una volta gli iniettori ,e adesso sto vicino ha sostituirli di nuovo ,comunque per quanto mi riguarda ottima auto

i hited 250 with a 2015 model

Interressant zu sehen, dass im Diesel der 6te Gang tatsächlich der Schnellere ist, bei meinem 1,4 Turbo Benziner kommt der 6te grad so auf 190 bis 200 während der 5te gut bis etwas über 210 schafft. Mein persönlicher Rekort waren 220 ganz leicht bergab.
Gemessen mit meinem Navi, da der Tacho für den Hintern ist, der Stand über 250, fast 260.
Eventuell solltest du das auch per Navi oder GPS Speedometer nachchecken.
Ganz normal der Diesel hat seinen Druck halt bei weniger Drehzahl

Der 1.4 Turbo hat seine 220Nm auch bereits im niedrigen Bereich (1800 Umin), er fällt nur bis 4900Umin nicht ab.
Es ist einfach die Übersetzung, die das ausmacht. Die Differenz der Übersetzung zwischen 5ten und 6ten Gang ist einfach zu groß um damit schnell zu fahren, dafür ist der 6te Ruhiger und Sparsamer. Der Diesel mit seinem höheren aber nur über einen sehr kleinen Bereich verfügbaren Drehmoment kann wohl vom langen Gang besser profitieren, wenn es um Leistung geht.
hätte nicht gedacht, dass das bei einem Opel machbar ist - bei 260 ist doch sowieso Schicht im Schacht & "nur leicht bergab"? Graben trifft es wohl eher.

Wie gesagt, dass ist was auf dem Tacho stand, Navi hat genau 220km/h angezeigt.
Auf der Ebene ist der Topseed ganz leicht über 210km/h.
Und das auch wie gesagt im 5ten Gang im 6ten eher knapp unter 200.

207 km/h ? No. 😉, 187 km / h, according to the test and factory specifications. Realistically, fluctuations in performance could result in 190 to 193 km / h. Approximately 8% must be deducted from the speedometer due to the deviation. So next time, measure correctly with a GPS device.
I think you are right since I have a 130 HP diesel Renault Megane sedan and the faster I have driven it, is 205 km/h. Here it is a station wagon ( or Touring ) ...

Its too small enging for that car, i would recomend 1.9 and above
there was no 1.9 in this model. there were 1,3 1,7 and 2,0 cdti diesel engines
Its not small engine, I have same engine and same 110hp on autobahn 180 no problem, and I push it to 204 kmh so its very fast for estate car
colt1998 there is no point of taking 110hp version(depends from the region you live in), 2.0 is a way better choice.
Marcin And for what you need 2.0 engine? If you dont live in germany?
colt1998 because 2.0 engine runs much smoother and easier deals with astra j weight, which can have more over 1700kg

Astra J is heavy car. Astra K is better in that spec.
