Your camera angle and lighting makes everything very easy to see. You speak clearly and avoid repeating/redundancy. Thanks so much for this fun project. My 5 year old grandson will love it. I found an easy way to do the surface stitches lol you may look ridiculous but it works! I put the square up to my chest and hold it with my chin where the lines are facing out and I found I get better leverage and can peak my head under to see where the yarn is if I need help lol

I think i will make this with thinner yarn, because i won't have that much stuffing and i use my yarn very sparingly so there is hardly any scraps that are longer than 1 cm for me. This is a great pattern and i am gonna crochet it as soon as i have more time.
The X didn't come out right for me until I figured out that you put 5 single crochet in the second stitch from the hook... then the stitches on round 2 come out to 12. The first stitch in round 1 counts as 1 stitch... took me awhile to figure this out lol
