Yeah I ended up selling my p365 because of the horrible grip/frame. Everything is cramped together and there's no room for your support hand and thumb. Overall there's better micro pistols on the market. I shoot the m&p shield multiple times better than the p365.
@@hxdaro The XL doesn't fix those issues. The problem isn't the grip or slide length. The problem is the overall design. The grip is too narrow, the distance between the back of the grip to the trigger shoe is too short, all of the controls feel crammed together, there's no room to rest your support thumb to get a proper grip. The trigger is mushy and the sights sit too low. There honestly is better options on the market. Pistols like the m&p shield plus, glock 43x and kimber mako r7 are much easier to shoot. I carried the sig p365 so I know from experience.... Trust me go to the gun range and rent the shield plus or the mako r7 because I think that you'll be surprised.
And bro that mag catching shit literally happens with all the frames. I have the strike, the combat and the stock and every single frame the mag gets caught on the way in sometimes it's not just the strike frame lol
@@hxdaro would you like me to post a video doing it with the Wilson combat frame? It happens when the mag is angled forward and to the right. It catches in the right front corner of the grip
"what hell were they thinking?!" 1:00 wtf, it doesn't fit YOUR hands??? wait a minute... looks like it'll be perfect for people with smaller hands (good try at lowering your pinky at 1:30 though) 1:20 wtf were they thinking? wait... looks like the bottom of icarus grip, and those $400 grips are sold out everywhere.... damn that design! 1:53 wtf, they made it wider?? no effin way... but the wilson combat is also wider (good job not pointing that out), so is the icarus, sharp bros, mischef machine, etc. 3:25 how about the picatinny rail? go cry some more
@ boomer. Huh. Where did that come from. You put out an awesome video showing your expertise in handling firearm accessories. With such skill and grace and I’m a boomer. Please elaborate Mr Edward scissorhands.
Never understood why people buy a new gun just to turn around and spend more money on upgrading parts of it....just buy the gun you want initially, that's my philosophy. Plus what do you do with the part you just replaced? Throw it in the back of your closet? To each their own I guess.
@@hxdarook that’s the icing on the cake. I like it wider and longer. I like the look of the strike but that being shorter is a nogo. Thank you very much man. This saved me money. I just bought a wc macro short grip. Thank you sir
@@JoshuaE-BiblePatriot ive never tried the WC macro grip so let me know how that feels. I know from my experience the WC stuff may feel slightly harsh in terms of texture the first couple days until your hand wear it down any high points
I got one of the strike frames for my strike slide and I really like it. And it's a magwell on the strike frame you're confused about 😭
Thanks for this review! Been considering the Strike... Definitely leaning more towards the Icarus Air
the icarus air is an xmacro sized grip so apples to oranges. I mean you could still use one with a 365xl I suppose

Thanks for the review
Wish the wc had picatinny rails
I hope they fix that on the SI gen 2
Horrible small grip on p365 is what keeps me EDC Hellcat series

Do you like the strike industries mag release? Considering buying one
why would you buy it over the OEM?
Cool review!

@@hxdaroDamn you got rekt by a boomer.
Did you really get that triggered that you needed to go into that much detail and make time stamps 😂😂 ffs its not that big of a deal
Disagree with you, the Strike Industries grip feels superior
Slow down. Seemed to be all over the place. Tons of fidgeting. Great comparison but hands flailing all over the place you lost me.
ok boomer

ITS CALLED A HOBBY! I enjoy customizing. So now you know why people do it 👌
Is the wc wider than the strike grip? Thank you sir this is what I’ve been looking for. You have done a service sir 🫡
just measured with calipers and the WC is slightly wider
