Thanks for an interesting video, Robbie. I enjoy your take on the Leica ecosystem. The 50mm Summilux is my favorite, too. (Mine is the pre-ASPH v.2 from 1962) But, I'm also shooting the 35mm Thypoch Simera while my 35mm Summicron v.4 goes back to Wetzlar for repair. Seeing you and others make such a positive contribution to the photography conversation online is inspiring. Good luck with what you're doing.
Thx for stopping by. Honestly, the fiddy isn’t my favorite “leica” lens. That would be the LLL 50mm f1.2 1966. I am saying that it is my first and only choice when it comes to leica native lenses. Thypoch is awesome. Have you tried the 28 or the 50?
close focus version still has some degree of ninja star bokeh, it's just lessened. also it has significantly improved edge/corner performance wide open which is rarely relevant but nice I guess. central sharpness of this lens is still one of the highest on the market, it's closer to the 50 apo cron than v5 at f2
@@robbiesumantri I have read what Karbe said and sure. I would not overvalue that, apochromatic lens designs only necessitate a level of color correction, the sharpness of the lens is much more complicated than that. Nikon released an apochromatic 50mm f3.5 lens in the 1950s, yet that 5 element lens did not so significantly outperform the competition that is forced other makers to react. It just sort of faded into history.
Hi Robbie, I made a purchase for your Shinwa preset from your store, but I have not received it yet. Could you kindly reply my emails with the download link please, thank you Robbie
@ I have the 35mm Summicron and 28mm summaron. I barely shoot 28mm but I have to say the summaron has an amazing rendering. In theory I am invincible lol … goods dreams to have hehehe
My 50 lux is my favorite Leica lens. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I feel the images pop more than on my Nokton 50. Needing to extend the duration at the end😂
Gokil🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I need one of these. It appears too tight for the shot you did for this video. The chicken lady would have looked amazing with a Summilux 28mm (review it next?) the 50 was way too tight. The duck shot was amazing. For street work the 50 lux may be too creamy, I like the terse hard look of a cron on the street. Great video as usual.
Thx so much.. Yeah I was waayyy too close to her for a 50mm… I agree, the fiddy is too “nice” for my tastes as well. I prefer the elcan but, when you need that f1.4, I think this lens is the benchmark..
Best lens you can get, for the SL system. Over rated for the M system if you don’t have a M3 or a evf. The M system is a 35mm lens system I would argue it’s not even great for 28mm. Looking forward to all the “Leica experts” saying I’m wrong. They will all end up with a 35mm summicron asph sooner or later.
It’s a matter of preference I think, the world would be a boring place if everyone agrees with the same thing. For what it’s worth, my favourite lens for the m is easily the 8e from lll. Thank you for stopping by.
These are better photo than most of your others. But they still lack any kind of story. Perhaps you thought getting a Leica would make it easy, well these photos prove otherwise.
I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed your video! Great work keep it up man
Thx so much.. I really appreciate it.. 🙏🙏🙏

Great review. I currently shoot with a 35mm Summilux ASPH FLE 2. Looking to pick up a 50mm.
I'm sure you'll love the 50, it's great.

Thx for pointing these out. Like i said, the designer has said that ths fiddy is actually an apo.

@TCMx3 thank you for the info.. I did not know that. At the end of the day, you can’t go wrong with a fiddy..
Hi, i really enjoyed this clip.
Why looks your colours that Nice? I always struggel with mine.
Did you use Lightroom?
I did use lightroom to edit the photos. Thank you for watching 🙏🙏
I like your sense of humor, lol

On it now.. I apologise
I have the latest version and I absolutely love it. I am more of a 35mm shooter but with the 50 lux I spend more time shooting 50mm now lol
You need a 28mm now dude.. with those 2, you’ll be INVINCIBLE!!! Maybe not quite.. but you’ll have a lot covered with the 28, 50 combo

Ngga tentu si, 2 jam an kurang lebih

It is probably the most balanced lens. Yeah.. I have a problem with lasting long enough…

where can we see your photos?
@calebtookaphoto at the Louvre.. Of course they’re there..
@@robbiesumantriah yes how could i forget about the r423fplip exhibit
Ok they really are amazing photos, it doesn’t help does it ?.
The treatment of animals in these countries is abhorrent… I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of even being there never mind photographing them.
