I'm so impressed by Norahs selection of tunes to cover. She takes songs that are great in their own right, and makes them even better. What a talent, thank you for giving these performances to us to enjoy.

I'm a massive Wilco fan and have been for about 20 years but this a genuine and lovely version. Why can't she cover this, especially as she's so talented as to pull it off? Anyone who feels the need to cover a song and does it so well, it can only be a compliment. I bet the band love this but that's only my opinion. Let's just be kind. Love to all x
Wilco is great but don't like any of Nora Jones self-penned songs but she does good covers. Interesting voice i just don't like her smoky voice much or her songs in general. Today's music is all pretty bad but at least Nora shows an appreciation of good song from the past
To those saying she didn't credit Wilco watch the video. She's sipping water when it starts and not even holding a guitar and then the video jumps to her playing the first notes. Obviously a chunk of video was cut out.
@superawesome1710 it's a cover not a ripoff. ripping someone off would mean plagiarism which would entail her stealing the song and taking credit for it. it's not a ripoff.
Sound here is superb. And that audience is pin-drop quiet. Remember what that was like before all the chompers started insisting on talking over every note of every song played at every show?
The iheartradio versian of this song is miles better. Norah seemed reserved and out of sorts in the Ancienne concert. No offence to the fuglies in the front row, but i think it might be them.
@@williamappelquist1779 The cover i agree is not the best plus i think people should from covering Wilco ...their songs have a soul which only the band can pull off....but Norah is definitely talented....she isnt bland as you so quietly put it.
Pretty sad cover, beautiful voice terrible music. What a debauchery, clearly she needs more talented artists backing her or take the time to learn to the actual music.
I'll be honest, I don't like this cover. If you really love a song so much that you want to start covering it: don't. Just leave it as it is and enjoy Wilco playing it.

I'd pay for an album of Wilco covers by Norah Jones.
Nora Jones Does Jeff Tweedy
Same. She's incredible!
Song is by Bill Fay
Copy That !!

this song is like a novel forced through a country and western song... I love it. Wilco are beautiful
Love this song and the way Norah sings it. Beautiful, talented, and the epitome of coolness. You rock Norah!!!
Amazing song and version! Norah is amazing!
This is a gorgeous version Norah.
Love this song...Love this beautiful Singer!
what a voice what a cover go Norah
Just an amazing and beautiful song. Thanks Jeff and Norah
Norah Jones is rocking dual Vox Pathfinder 15R amplifiers!! Nice taste in tone Norah 👍
Not sure why but when She sings this song it brings a tear to my eye. Well done Norah
Brilliant! This song could have been written for her, just perfect. She completely makes it her own.
You were right about the stars!
A wonderful voice singing a wonderful song. Love Tweedy's writing and Norah's musicality.

Love it
She's a stylist on the piano - with a great voice to boot aaaaaand she goes beyond ---- to take on guitar tunes just because she is so into the sound.
J'aime bien ❤❤❤🎉
She's amazing
hadnt found a cover that i actually like but i love this!

Lotta dudes in that front row Nora! Hang in there sister.
"Snora" is pretty darn good. I am Mister Wilco approves off this version.
She shines as she always does…. But I miss the atmosfere that Wilco creates… solitude, countryside, decadence…..
What are you talking about
@@andiewade5502 that I prefer Wilco, that simple
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Always consistently good....different direction of the music..but I like it better.
@superawesome1710 i understand..they should always mention that..but she does caress this song...best wishes
ICYDK UNT Alumni!
Incredible singer and amazing person
This cover version is missing the swinging downbeat that makes the original so good.
IT IS SENSUOUS SEDUCTIVE SEXY!!!!!! YOU ON THE OTHER HAND ARE A VARMENT
MUCH BETTER THAN WILCO.
Big hug for norah jones..;D
What the guy downstairs from me just said times two. (Double album, maybe?)

I like it. Downvote my comment if you must
Snora is very very good. She would kill Swift and Cyrus in the battle of the bands and not even realize it.
Quit calling her Snora, not really a compliment if you listen to her catalog. She can adapt to many styles, which Swift and Cyrus can't!
@@tedmohr6353 need to see her punk band. And I'll call her what I want. She wouldn't care.
An amazing cover. She looks petrified but her voice doesn’t show it.

"Heyyyyy! what a crowd!"
This is an awesome song. But her voice is almost to pretty to sing it.
joseph pattison your voice is your voice, sing what you love and use your heart. Heart and soul doesn’t use micro management.
@@3riverclipper853 mmm...my golden rule is leave things better than you found them. This cover breaks it. Most do.
Bill Fay's version, beats everything : from his album 'Life is people'.

@Thorfin46 Don't feed the troll
Ravi Shankar keep spreadin' those seeds.
@freethinkerer dude what's ur problem....!!
Wilco's better.
NOT EVEN CLOSE
This is still pretty good stuff!
people in front row w hands folded across chest… what a bunch of stiffs!
I think wilco needs to back her without the singer and this song would literally be perfect
???????????
What an uninspiring cover.. zzzzzzz. Doesn't do Wilco justice at all.
Yeah, it's just kind of *meh*.
Agreed Gearlock! Nora is the queen of bland. Ever since I heard her suck the soul out of "Don't Know Why." zzzzz....is right!
