@jimmysgarage9068 I paid $9.99 for mine around 12 or 13 years ago. Had an orange one I bought 20 something years ago at Harbor Freight for probably a similar price that I had to replace because I dropped it off a ladder. Pound for pound the Harbor Freight heat gun might be best buy in the store 🤔
Well, my previous experience was smashing the gears out of the rear axle so my friend and I could dangerously ride it down a really steep street. That was a lot more fun than this fix.
What are those tiny connectors you used for the wires called? I’ve been trying to find them on amazon but I only see connectors with wires included. I only need those tiny pieces.
1:21 you say motor assembly, if I only can find a motor (mine is a dl550-c) can I reuse the housing? it didn’t look like you just replaced the motor you did the motor assembly and I’m curious as to why? Thanks!
The motor and assembly came as one - figured it would be an easier swap. Not sure if you can reuse the existing housing - but if the placement motor has the same holes it should line up? One way to find out! Good luck man.
Been looking online to find a solution. My daughter shattered a tooth on a gear. I bought new motors but they aren’t equipped to support the wheel lights. I noticed you didn’t reinstall them. Was it a fitment issue with the new motors?
@@jimmysgarage9068Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a new upgraded set from Maderno. I ordered a few different types I found online but none had the clearance to run the wires. The factory motors came with the discs and wiring preinstalled so it was just plug and play. In the end, it's back in action with all the lights working.
Brief, detailed and simple video, perfect! Great job and thank you.
Thank you for that feedback! I appreciate you watching and commenting 🇺🇸🤘
Most men are not knowledgeable like you. Thank you❤
Thank you for watching! 🇺🇸🤘
Nice dude! Love the heat gun 🤙🏼🏝🍻
$7 and 7 years later, still going strong!

Where did you buy the motors from? Thank you for this tho. I had been looking for this for. While
I bought them from Amazon. Just typed in all the info off the existing motors and found replacements. I’m glad this helped! Thank you for watching 🤘🇺🇸
@jimmysgarage9068 Was the jeep turning on when you flipped the switch before the fix?
Also, could you link the motors you purchased? Curious
Getting that big Barbie bump!
Thought you might sub in a motor from a Warrior grinder - that would be fun.
First wheel standing Barbie Jeep!
What was the failure mode?
The motors had burned out. Total bummer.
Cool video! I get the impression you’ve modified or “fixed” power wheels vehicles before in your past.

@@jimmysgarage9068 sounds about right 😆
Looks like were ready for the highway :-))
3mph coming at you! 🤘🇺🇸

Great video man!
Thank you sir! 🇺🇸

The replacement motor assembly on this didn’t have the connects for the lights. I didn’t care so much. The kids don’t see them when they’re driving.

Where can we find a replacement battery? Thanks in advance
is this modded or stock, because mine does not have all those fancy lights and sounds
It’s totally stock. Maybe just a different model?
If they'd scale it to full size they'd change the world.
It’s true. Not a lot of range though.
Seabees... can do?
Next time when they get a little older put a predator 212 in there
Already thinking of buying a broken one and doing that…
Oh god, it's a Seabee
🤘🇺🇸
I can’t get the wheel covers off 😠😂
