Couldn't explain this any better! Thank you so much for always providing clear and concise explanations! This helped me understood the new aspect and want to try it out on the old projects!
Variety of sources from mentions on Twitter to reading Medium and other articles. I always go back to MDN for details and CanIUse.com to check support.
19:50 The bubbleswitch worked differently for me... The left 20% had the gradient, then came the body's background color of lightslategray and the right 20% of that had the bubbles. Setting \background-size: 20% auto, auto\ seems to have fixed it. Is that correct?
@@DaveGrayTeachesCode Hehe, no, it shouldn't! "Shit goes in, shit comes out. ", is what my father used to say about computers. ;) I'll go over it again.
@@robinheyer708once I was doing project from this videos and my code worked differently, I worked 1 hour and found out I had coded something else, just 1 word changes the game 😅
Thank you! No hidden message. Just a color I have used in the past. I think I originally created it with the opacity slider in the VS code color selector. I'm sure 0.6 is very close.
Noted in the video with discussion of support and marked with a chapter. Support is over 81% currently with Chrome, Edge, and Safari all supporting - Firefox is lagging but is flagged which means support is coming soon there, too. I don't think CanIUse has to be at the start - support is coming fast and this video will age well my friend.
@@DaveGrayTeachesCode let's hope so! It is great to have this in CSS! Firefox and Safari are the browsers that currently slowing down the JS and CSS world!
🥺🥺it seems you are releasing your ever impressive content way too fast sir, I can't seem to keep up anymore😋😋. I honestly need to buckle up. Thanks for your selfless service sir🎉💯💯💯

Please do make more of such videos , your way of explaining is phenomenal. 🔥🛐
Thank you! More to come! 💯
I've checked right now, and finally the :has selector is now supported on the newer version of Firefox! 🥳🎉
has:: is awesome!!! Like it. This is easy and great. You do a good job.

Amazing and easy to understand.. thx a lot
You're welcome!
Thank you, @DaveGrayTeachesCode!
Where do you follow new changes to CSS3?

Dave, you are the best. Thanks for all your efforts and helps. I'm appreciate of you

If it is different than my result, something in the code must be different. The same code will not be interpreted in two different ways.

I took some notes. Easier... thank you
Thank you very much Dave for sharing knowledge with us beginners, appreciate it!

Excellent! I had forgotten CSS can be somewhat dynamic
Right on! 💯
Hello sir could you prepare a tutorial on "how to add a global loader in axios instance globally" .
it would be really helpful.
thanks you very much
:gas could activate other classes if it already have specific style
Thank you again, Dave
Welcome!
Thanks for this video🥰
You’re welcome 😊
Great video as usual. Great pseudo selector too. 0.615 seems oddly specific. I feel like there is a hidden message here. 🙂

Can I use has to be at the start of the video, like it's not supported fully yet and even after not everyone going to be on the latest update :(

Hmmm, this video is pretty good. Why do you have so small amount of views?? Not fair...
(Btw, what theme are you using)
Thank you! My theme choice: th-cam.com/users/shortsdp4u1NNFhtE
Does anyone know what vscode theme is being used?
I do! 😀 And I discuss it in this short: th-cam.com/users/shortsdp4u1NNFhtE
so fucking good man, thank you!
It doesn't work on firefox u.u
When was this has selector released?
The last part of the video goes over the support. It has over 80% support and is flagged for Firefox. It already works in Chrome, Safari, and Edge.
@@DaveGrayTeachesCode Thank you, Dave. You're the best!
:has() still has lack of support on some modern browsers. For example, Firefox.

Dope
