I just bought Symphobia 2 from Native Instruments for £159! Wanted this library since 2010! This update is fantastic!!! Spitfire Audio could learn a few lessons...
Any chance to get the poly legato to work with the sustain pedal? If I hold the sustain pedal and change a two note voicing, it breaks. You can look to LASS for inspiration :)
Does shifting the frame on the keys works only with Komplete? I have Arturia Key 88 MK II keyboard. Will I be able to split and shift playing frame on the keys?
honestly symphobia 1 and 2 1.5 turned me off just due to how old it was and how much less functional it was compared to other libraries this is an insane improvement, and makes symphobia worth it. though i wish there were a bit more velocity layers in symphobia 1... maybe in the next update?
As you might imagine, adding more velocity or dynamic layers later on is a tricky thing to do. Even if one would book additional recordings, matching those new samples with the existing ones so that a smooth transition is quite a challenge. The positioning of the players, the positioning of the mics, the type of mics, the recording gear and preamps, and, depending on the instrumentation, the players themselves are all important factors here. While we still record in the same concert hall today, some of the other elements, in particular the recording gear, have evolved over the years.
Is there a reason that one multi is named "Grandfather Reminiscences" [noun: a story told about a past event] instead of "Grandfather Reminisces" [verb: to recall past events]? If it's intended to be a noun, it should be "Grandfather's Reminiscences" [Grandfather's stories of the past] with apostrophe-S to indicate possession, and if a verb, it should be "Grandfather Reminisces" [Grandfather remembers the past].

One of my favorite libraries of all time, the string brass and wind trios still blow my mind with how useful they are!!

You have a fault when you're playing. It's the A4 string spiccato.
Are the legato patches true legato, or scripted?
True legato. We sampled all intervals from a minor second to an octave upward and downward within the available range.
