Things to remember:
- Ultimate Dirk now has a young Dirk in Homestuck2
- There is a condese Reader out there for pesterquest 2
- Reader has a real name that we'll see in the future
- Reader now has a weapon
"Sword" so put him in smash Bros
- The only thing that reset was pesterquest NOT friendsim so hiveswap and friendsim is still Canon to the main timeline
- Reader is best character

A Locked Timeline? What would this mean? That it'll forever be in Reader's arms to keep it safe from external dangers of narrative disasters whether it's canon or not? Is it locked to be freed back for the viewers' interpretations and such?

There was one source that I have seen that claims to have asked Aysha if a locked timeline was "basically any fan-content that is divergent from main, and protected by an outside source." and got a "that is a good summation" in return.
So basically it's a timeline that while divergent from alpha, but instead of disappearing/get destroy as doomed timelines do, they stick around perfectly safe due to being protected.
Like how a fanfic is definitely not the alpha timeline, but instead of disappearing into the void, it sticks around due to the author.
tldr: its basically a term for fan-works/content and that it is safe from external dangers, narrative or otherwise.

@@IamParadoxic I'm very elated about her answer. It brings up so many possibilities that can be canon or non-canon to various fans. There are so many stories that can branch off, so much character depth for us to interpret and define, and as Meulin would say "so many ships to pawnder about"; and all this while showing the characters achieving the happy times they deserve and leaving its future to possibly not as grimdark as the epilogues. It's like ending Pesterquest as Homestuck started- to the hands of its audience.
