It looks nice now. Well done
Thank you, it’s a pain but worth it.
Woohoo - you’re back! Love the videos!
Thank you 👍👊👊
Welcome back! IMO, I once worked in a foundry making turbine parts for commercial airplanes. Kevlar hood and face shield would have been the ticket so you weren't so hot and fogged up. Easy to say not doing the sandblasting. Cheers!
Oh wow, that must have been the experience!
Damn thats one bad ass pit!! Nice to see you making vids. Hoping for more-.
Thanks brotha! Hope you and the family are doing well!
Excellent work, lots of elbow grease though.
Haha, way too much elbow grease!
Looks like you did a good job! Evapo-Rust? I’ve got tables I’m thinking about trying that stuff on.
Evapo-rust, I haven’t seen that one. Keep me posted on how it works👍
All you need to do is hand sand it just to rough up the surface, and then get black rustolium spray paint and spray, let it dry. Maybe do 2 coats and “walla” it looks new and will not rust in the future. I have done this to all my webers and fire pits over the years and they still look new. Try it, you will be surprised how well it works and it is easy.
I believe that, it seems like the easier method sometimes is the best!
Whatever the method. Remember rust never sleeps. Possible maybe just keep applying oil weekly to keep rust at bay?
Yes, that’s the key!
yeah would have preferred a full restoration vid without the full frame talking head. great job though. I'm not worthy
There is a bunch of those out there.
