Is there a specific setup I need to do to create a discount line for all items? When I try to setup a discount line in a sales price list of Product Type = Item and Product No. = empty, I get an error on the validation trigger. Product No. (custom) must have a value in Price List Line.

how would you combat pricing structure for franchise customers? Multiple franchise customers that have agreed pricing however when there is a price increase we need to adjust the pricing individually for each customer. Please help.

From Jenny -- I would setup a customer price group and assign each customer to the FRANCHISE price group. The create a price list for FRANCHISE which all franchise customers would use instead of setting the same pricing up for each customer.

I might be missing something however I thought I would mention that even though you can't import like you can with other master data you can copy and paste from excel to price lists after some simple manipulation of columns

Can you apply a price list to multiple price groups?

No you can not. One price group to a list. Maybe someday in the future Microsoft will implement this update. Until then each price group would need its own prices list.
