What I do in these tight situations is get my 14mm hex socket and just put a ratchet spanner on the middle of it with tip in the hole and just turn it with ratchet spanner.
I believe so, easiest way to check is to dive under and see if you can locate the fill/drain plugs, 2 wheels on the curb, one side of the car and you should be able to squeeze under.... depending on how sizeable you are of course :) ...or a selfie stick with a phone can work.
Yep I think so. Chrysler crossfire here (essentially the same as slk 320) 6spd manual tranny, same plug configuration. Thanks for the vid, good work pal!
Is this oil good? I used the same on the 1.9tdi 77kw, 5 speeds, so we'll see if it works. Ever since I changed someone, they said that it was not good to change it and put it in better quality. Greeting
Absolutely brilliant video! I'm definitely going to be doing this on my SLK200 Kompressor in the Spring.
Hi , thanks for your video. Is the same oil to a Slk 230 R170 from 1999 ?
Thanks, very professional video for R170 owners.
Genial. yo necesito hacer eso en mi SLK 200K 1999. creo que nunca se le ha cambiado el aceite.
Awesome video! Thanks for the recommendation for the low profile hex bit -- there is barely any room for a normal-sized hex bit and a rachet to fit.
the amount of times I had to try different tools out, or couldn't get enough leverage to apply torque, silly really. Glad it helped.

Thanx, ive just bought a 2001, slk, 200K, with 150,000km.
So going to watch ur vids and do all the oil changes soon.
Nice 👍
👍👍 quel est la taille du joint cuivre ?
Yeah need those low profile hex, same for clk 200 w208
Very good video. I assume this would be the same for an SLK320 manual gearbox.

you can use anything that meets minimum requirements or above in my case, this is above. Should say in your manual, or extended service guide.
Use a 14mm bolt with 2 nuts locked onto it. use that as a very cheap 14mm allen key !!!
