    You’re a bts fan why don’t you make a video about how they’ve said the n word several times, have multiple instances of cultural appropriation, sample audio clips from jim jones 💀💀

      I was a got7 fan first lol …. sure if that’s what you want I’ll talk about BTS and their evolution☺️

      They as a group did not sample him, they as a group have not done these things , certain members have and I hold them just as accountable as I’ve held Jackson

      So because she talked about one group she has to make a video about every group?Even if she was being hypocritical, which she wasn’t, that wouldn’t invalidate anything she said in the video so what was the point of this comment🤨?

    I’m going to be honest with you, even here in jamaica hats with locs are sold for tourists and entertainment. I’m not saying it was right, but I am saying that even up to a few years ago it wasn’t a ‘taboo’ thing for someone to do. he has since apologized (when the situation was made clear to him and he wasn’t just receiving death threats) and it’s not like he has a ‘history’ of doing/saying anything offensive either so…

    • @aminaisme7
      @aminaisme7  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just because something is normalized or not “taboo” isn’t an excuse in my opinion. Did you watch the whole video or read the description I don’t think Jackson is racist but was this situation in insensitive…yes . I will say if my parents were receiving death threats I probably wouldn’t react in the most acceptable way . I talked about the apology. I also talked about corrective culture instead of cancel culture we’re we correct our behavior. Not having a history isn’t a pass is it something to take into consideration absolutely! Again give been igot7 since like 2014 and still consider myself one!

    Didn’t Christina wear dreads in the Dirty video? Did she get backlash? I think everyone should be able to wear their hair however they like, and yes they should definitely not be ostracised if they want to wear it to work, school, sports

    • @aminaisme7
      @aminaisme7  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The backlash or lack there of is not the point as I stated in the video. You’re entitled to your opinion my point is that we have to be socially aware . There are areas where it is legal to kick a child out of school for wearing their natural hair as it grows out their head . These things that often affect the Black community need resolution .

    • @aminaisme7

      People often have been able to adapt Black Culture to gain…. when they want to present a certain image everybody except Black people .

      @@aminaisme7 totally agree with that, it is totally wrong that black people cannot wear their natural hair , and for it to be legal to kick them out of school is outrageous.. I would need to research , but I don’t think it’s the case here in UK

      @@aminaisme7 The Halo Code is a campaign pledge, signed by schools and businesses, that promises members of the Black community that they have the "freedom and security to wear all afro-hairstyles without restriction or judgment". This includes any child who wishes to wear their hair however they choose to in school……..so I found this online re UK, started by 30 black activists in 2020

    I have to agree with the beginning of your video. Though I truly love GOT7 (and they are the ONLY “kpop” group that I like) I always had this “thing” about JW that I could not shake. I see people on Twitter saying that JW apologized, but I can’t find this apology. It was wrong that he decided to wear locs and his response to people saying that it was not cool was even worse in my opinion. If several people are telling you that something is offensive, don’t lecture them about why its ok for you to be offensive. Just apologize and stop. That’s it!

    • @user-mx7tj3jz1y
      @user-mx7tj3jz1y 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      his response was understandable when you know that at the time, it was a reaction to people sending him/his mother death threats. when he was informed that it was wrong/why, the ad went down and you never saw/heard of anything like that from him again.

      @@user-mx7tj3jz1y I am not referring to the way he was responding to people sending his parents death threats.. I am referring to the way he responded to people that told him he should not be wearing locs. He lectured us about how he loves Black culture and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong. Yes, he never did it again, but he never apologized to the people he offended.
