Having say that people who think uemura was better are just ridiculous lol. Aka is actualy the best shotokan in the world. And ao is not the best shito goju of the world
Pedro Araujo this is the original gankaku. not the fake version done by the european and all the other continents then. kururunfa is not a kata for a final. and being a pkf referee is not a reference...although when we always see kokumai beating dimitrova whereas she is far away worst. lol.
this is not an original kata... none of shotokan kata is the "original" form.... this gankaku is masatoshi nakayama's shotokan version... by the way on "karate kyohan", funakoshi yoko geri for his chinto version, renamed gankaku, is chudan level, not jodan... and this gankaku is not good enough to beat that kururunfa, according wkf rules.... bad balance, bad control, only his kime was good.... judges went wrong...
Pedro Araujo According to WKF rules how? His balance, speed, agility. Athletic performance, adherence to his style. Was all perfect. Control was amazing. This was one of the best Gankaku, not the worst.
Pedro Araujo agree with you, that uemura was better. Both were amazing and both did it well but for me uemura sensei’s kururunfa was better. It’s also more difficult to perform kururunfa, not the highest kata at this level for the bronze medal fight
Pedro Araujo Where is the bad balance, bad control? Gankaku is one of Shotokan's high level kata. Not many people do it in competitions since it requires good balance, especially in the turn. I thought this Gankaku deserved a gold. 'All Japan' Championship is better, since the Japanese judges actually knows how to assess a karateka. Unlike with this one. You and your PKF judge seem to be very incompetent.
très très très bon travail
me encanta ese Gankaku
Pedro explain to me how that is a bad Gankaku and what is your PKF friend looking at?
Aka have to win 5 :0, AO disqualification because he didnt bow in the end of the kata
You are right! I didn't even notice.....and neither did 5 WKF referees haha.
good point!! agreed. I didn't notice too... case closed...
No
dont remember very well from the rules, but what I remembered is that they emphasised on bowing BEFORE the kata not AFTER
Kazumasa Moto is the best Kata Player in the world....
Динамики нет(((
大事なところがw
ощущение что он на ходу ката забывает)))
Lol there should not have been hantei...ao should have been disqualified because he didn t bow at the end of the kata!!!!

Сколько передержек(((( фигня ката(((
uemura's kururunfa is far better... I show it to a PKF A Judge and he agreed " this is worst gankaku that wins a match"
