    Love this stuff!
I've found it's best and easiest to remove the masking tape after the 2nd coat while it's still wet, it comes off a lot easier.

Can you layer the soundproofing and the insulation on each other? What's the best order to layer them in? Can you cover both with paint? Would it work just as well?

Lizzard skin is stackable and first would be the sound deadening, then the ceramic coat, and then paintable if desired.

@@speedwaymotors just out of curiosity, why do you recommend putting the sound deadening on first? Wouldn’t the insulation be more efficient if it’s directly against the metal or is it an adhesion issue?

    • @Repect4
      @Repect4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@lamontcranston8181 You want the sound deadener to "sound deaden" so sticking it to the metal allows it to stop vibration. Insulation will work regardless because the sound deadener will heat up with the metal.

Shooting The ceramic clogs the gun sometimes .and I do clean the gun correctly before using . I wish it was more simpler to apply. I am happy with the product I really do like it. Apply the sound control is much simpler. I used 8 gallons of lizard skin for a Mercedes sprinter van walls ceiling and floor and rear cargo door . 4 gallons of sound control soon after that for gallons of ceramic . It was a new van so I had to do is cover the cab area with plastic and tape very well it was time-consuming but well worth it 👍🏽🚐🇺🇸🇲🇽🙂🍻🌮🎶

You didn't put the sound control over the ceramic did you?

*You didn't put the sound control over the ceramic did you?*
That was my question as well. Everything I've read/watched about application says to put the sound control down FIRST.

Raul Macias I'm about to do same to my Sprinter van. Can you clarify how many gallons of each product you used? How much of the sound deadener and how much of the thermal insulation? Also, what size sprinter? Thanks!

This stuff is REALLY hard to do if you don't have a 240V air compressor. He's making it look like it sprays out a huge circle with loads of volume, which it won't do unless you have tons of air at 80psi and the nozzle out 4 turns.

How does it feel when cured? Is it like a hard plastic or a semi-soft tough material? And how does it clean up years later if you have to remove it?

What spray nozzle will work with the sound control and ceramic insulation? Have a 2 gun gravity feed DevilBliss auto paint and priming system with 1.3mm, 1.5mm and 1.8mm nozzles. Will this work with lizard skin? Thank you

I believe LizardSkin offers a special gun for their products. I remember seeing it somewhere. I'll like to buy bought products and put them to the test.

Well, the nozzle is the size of my standard snap on #2 screwdriver as it just fits thru it, that's way bigger than what you said you've got.

How much will this cover? Will one bucket of each do the interior of a 65 mustang coupe?

How bad is this product with over spray when spraying? Been thinking of doing this on my 82 F150 but the truck is my daily driver and I cant afford to gut it down to a bare cab.

Ya sell gallons? Can ya brush it on? U cleaned paddle/gun with water is great. Then i got lost, what is second bucket?? Use captions on your next vid, like shelf life etc..
